If I had a 3.0 USB port it would have been just plug and play. I have an older desktop with Windows 7 that the Ethernet connection went bad and it has 2.0 USB ports. So I had to download the drivers for this device on my laptop and transfer it over to the desktop.....that was the only downfall, and why I gave it 4 stars.

Great Product, Affordable Price

I didn’t even know what adapter was available for my Microsoft Surface. Found I could get this adapter from my local Best Buy and it worked great.
