My laptop doesn't have Ethernet slot and this works great!

Needed to get my computer back online after WIFI shut down, but have a newer machine without an Ethernet port. This product allowed me to get back online and download the needed updates to get my WIFI back online.

Works great on Chrome books , PC and Mac computers.

Does your computer lack an Ethernet connection port...if so, this device is perfect!! No slag time in the transfers speed. Works as well using the connector as my old computer did with a direct connection. Happy with the purchase

Came with drivers on a mini CD disc. Installed readily without any hassle. Note that the drivers for this dongle are different from the drivers used on the USB 2.0 version. I bought both versions because I had to test for compliance with a new product.

With WiFi issues in my house and two college and one daughter all needing bandwidth, I had to be able to hardwire into my router for reliability. This adapter did the trick. No issues and very reliable.

Newer notebooks don't have ethernet ports so having an adapter to physically plug into a wired connection on a network is important. Often WiFi networks are too slow or unavailable. This device allows for a hard-wired connection which is much faster.

I bought this Adapter to plug in my new Lenovo laptop. The Lenovo didn't have an ethernet outlet. Just plug in the adapter to the laptop and then plug in the ethernet to the other end of the adapter and you're in business.

Most of my laptops don’t have a Network Interface Card and only has WiFi. If you have an available USB port you can use it for this device so you can access the network if WiFi isn’t available but a hard connection is.

Solved a huge issue when my port wouldn't take the LAN Cable directly (reason still unknown) by allowing me to connect through USB Port. Did exactly what I needed with no muss, no fuss and no issues.

The product functioned and worked as expected. The instructions are a little bit misleading though since they say you need to install drivers with the provided disk before using it which I did not need to do (on my PC). I just plugged it in and it worked.

Practically a necessity given slimmer laptops and notebooks these days not coming equipped with an ethernet port. When you don't have WiFi available, but there's a wire sitting there, you'll wish you had one of these in your bag.
