Great, But slow charging

I use it to stream movies on my phone and cast them on any tv that accepts an HDMI input. Additionally if you have a samsung phone, this product can convert your phone into a Desktop. Unfortunately the output for charging the device can not keep up. I used a fast charger and it would slow charge my phone so after 2 movies or so my phone would die.

Good for the Money

It works well running my Ultrawide 1080p at 75 hertz via an HDMI 2.0 cable. The USB C port on it i'm sure would be more useful on computers with less ports onboard. The USB A port works as expected. Downside, when you plug in the HDMI cable you have to press pretty hard and almost feels like you might break it.

Insignia does not usually disapoint me

It works very well with my Linux and mac, it is very cheap if compared with other brands and you do not have the same risks of burning your computer, as you have when buying some cheap and unknown devices you can find everywhere. So, when I have an Insignia option and the price is competitive, I usually go for it.

Everything works perfectly even in unison and has worked perfectly for a long time now. Plastic is a little cheap and the ports feel a little weird when plugging in, but it still works perfectly.
