Q: Does this dongle support 4k @ 60hz?
A: I can confirm it does NOT it only supports 4k@30hz
Q: will this work to make my android phone play my netflix from the phone to my tv?
A: This adapter will only work with certain phones. The USB-C to HDMI specification that is required is called Alt DP mode. Most Android phones do not have this specification adopted for their USB-C Ports. Flagship models more often have this spec. Samsung phones/tables like the Galaxy S8, S9, S10 and S20 phones (and their variants like the Note 10) do have this specification. Google Pixel phones do not have this specification however, and this adapter will not work with them.
Q: Would this adapter work with a Nintendo Switch?
A: It didn't work with mine.
Q: Will this work with a MacBook Pro 13.
A: I'm using it on a Macbook Air with only 1 USB-C... Works like a charm. I plugged in a power cord to keep laptop charged while I work a 5 hour shift. I also plugged in an HDMI and I'm working on a huge flat screen I still have an opening of a 2.0 USB for my external drives or any other device
A: Same problem. Got an Apple USB-C to USB adapter, works fine. Going to return this and get the Apple USB-C to HDMI/Power/USB adapter.
A: I have my wireless keyboard receiver hook to the adapter and it works but once in a while I notice it will multiple type a letter like thisssssssssssssssssss. It actually did it when I type the word this. I tried it with word pad it done the same thing. I am using a Lenovo core I7 with the type c connector. using a logitech K520 wireless keyboad. Hope this help.
