    Can’t even support 4K at 60hz. I’ll stick with other brands, that offer more for less money.

    Bought this to use with my new MacBook Pro and my SuperDrive. It will not power the SuperDrive. Returned and ordered the Apple version.

It is important, however, to consider that this Adapter is designed to be used with most USB Type C compatible devices. For iPhones an adapter with the Lightning connection is required. In this case, you can take advantage of the 15 day return period that Best Buy grants you and exchange the product for one that is compatible with your devices.
