I needed this to use Windows Mixed Reality on my Surface Book 2. Works great, every time I plug it in, it's ready. Cheaper than alternatives.

Overall this is a great product, especially for those laptops that don't come with an HDMI port, and/or are limited in USB-A ports. I use this device daily with a USB-A hub attached, and it performs excellently! The only negative I have is that the USB-C port seem to only work for power-cord insert (unless I'm missing something). I've tried to charge my iPhone that uses a USB-C port, but it won't connect/charge. Other than that, it's a very good product.

Purchased this for my wife's MacBook Pro. It's nice so she can use her USB and HDMI accessories and take them with her as needed.

Did a lot of searching, have bought several other products and none of them worked. So if you are looking for somthing that works with Tab S6, this does.

I got this device to view a phone on my tv. It worked well giving me a my phone screen on my tv.

The HP Envy x360 that I purchased last year has a USB-C port but not an HDMI port. This adapter allows me to connect a monitor to my laptop. Works great.

This product was easy to use and plug in. The only draw back was it did not work with the kindle fire I had which I wanted to connect to a T.V.

With the new MacBooks only supporting USB-C connections, products like these are a necessity if you want to use your existing hardware that requires a connection to the machine.

New laptop only had one USB and one usb-c, but I needed to run HDMI projector, second monitor and cordless mouse. This fits the bill, albeit seemingly overpriced.

I bought a MacBook not realizing that it only has the charging port, your girl told me to buy the adapter for charging. I'm not techy and didn't research anything. I saw it and I liked it so I bought it. My daughter gave me a wireless mouse, which I really like. But with the single port adapter, I can use my mouse, or I can charge it. I can't do both at the same time. While this new adapter can do more, than the 1st one, it still doesn't do what I was looking for. An adapter, that will charge it and allow me to use my wireless mouse at the same time. Maybe they don't make what I want?

Since I'm working at home, needed a way to hook up 2 monitors without using up all my ports. Using the USB-C is a great way to keep other ports open.

What can I say...I connect it and it works. Hasn't failed me yet...worth the money.

This adapter allowed the use of thumb drive recordings to be played in various formats. Some of the older equipment that I use will not play MP-4 and this was one way to come around the problem.

If you are getting the new MacBook Pro, this item is a must. For some reason Apple did away with these ports and if you purchase a MacBook Pro as a gift, be sure to pick this item up.

very handy little gizmo, great because it is so portable, have used multiple times and always easy to plug in and go to work!

Great product and excellent compatibility. The refresh rate is sufficient for 1080p monitors. Have had no problems with gaming at all. Does get a little warm but not at all worrisome.

This adaptor worked great, allowing me to hook up my MacBook Pro to DVD player and monitor in a class I was teaching. Thanks to the Best Buy Sales person who showed me just what I needed.

besides the fact that needing a dongle sucks, this is pretty much all you need. Works great and is affordable when compared to Apple brand dongles.
