I like the device but it doesn't work 100%

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned this product because even though it mirrors your phone to the tv really well, its usb-c port is pointless because it doesn't really work. The port is there so you can charge your phone at the same time while mirroring it to the tv... but it doesn't really charge your phone it just slows down the battery depletion a bit... if at all. Actually kind of seemed like your phone battery would die just the same whether you connected the charger to this device or not. But somebody told me afterwards about Google Chromecast, and that's a much better device to perform the same task.
