Although it is less well made and it does not offer 60Hz 4K, it is very useful to have this item on trips or hotels as an emergency video link option.

I hooked it up to my iMAC and haven't had to move it or anything so its not a whole lot to say. I would say there are some cheaper ones as well so I think its a tad bit over priced.

Overheated with dual monitors

The item worked, but did fail to recognize one of the monitors frequently. The item seemed to get extremely hot during use. I plan to return this.

I checked the internet for local stores and the prices they were charging. BestBuy was the closest, cheapest, and my preferred electronics store. I had no problem making my presentation the next day. The adapter did the job.

It works most of the time, but too frequently the external video does not switch on initially and I have to unplug it and mess with it a bit before it will work.
