This is one of the best purchases I have made. Allows you to connect to multiple devices. Quality of this item is great.

Only reason for 4 stars is that the C port doesn’t transfer data...it is only meant to replace the power port on the laptop.

Works great, but sometimes slow to connect. The Apple version's price was substantially higher so that's why I settled for this brand.

I did not know when I bought my new apple computer that you can not plug anything into it....no flash drive, memory cards, etc. So you need to buy this attachment.

Delivery was fast and it seems like a solid device. When I unplugged the USB Type-C and HDMI cable from my Nintendo Switch Dock and plugged them into this device, I hoped that I could connect my Switch to it and play in docked mode. Unfortunately, the screen still lit up for handheld mode and the TV did not respond. Is there something else I have to do to make it work, or does this simply not support the Switch?

Works well with my HP touchscreen that lacks usb3.0 port and I’m able to use a much bigger monitor while I’m able to charge my touchscreen at same time.

it looks cheap, it feels cheap, and when you think it doesn't matter, the connector breaks. the tip has like a plastic lining inside the type c hole sans it broke when I inserted it into my macbook. I didn't just shove it in, I connected it just the same as I connect anything else to anything, like a normal person. needless to say, I returned it and opted for the original one. that said, even broken. IT DID WORK lol.

We use this to play media from our phones on the dvd screen in our van. It's great for streaming movies and tv shows we don't have on dvd.

The Thunderbolt 3 to USB 3 connection is pretty fast. Love how quickly it works. I've heard the right side works best, but haven't seen a difference.

If you wanna use it with your Mac, do not buy this garbage. The USB adapter part did not work with my 2017 MacBook Pro. It was always a game of trial and error! Try the first USB-C...don't see your flash drive on your desktop!? Try the next one USB-C. Until you run out of USB-C on your computer and t still does not connect your usb flash memory to your computer. Today, I tossed it to the trash can! And by the way, I used HDMI port 2 times only and it worked which I am sure if I used it more often it would have played just like its USB-3 adapter. and the USB-C connection on it worked only for charging. $50 wasted for nothing. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Works great with the M1 MacBook Air. I wish it had an ethernet cable connection.

I could have gotten this type item cheaper elsewhere. However, I needed it quick and this was the best price. I am satisfied.

I would definitely purchase this again if I needed, Only purchased it because my Mac was compatible until I bought a new one.
