Every other day this unit would decide not to work. I would head out for lunch, close my laptop, and when i come back it would not work for the rest of the day. It is extremely unreliable and I ended up having to exchange it for the apple version... which works perfectly...every...single...time. If you want to be able to trust the adapter spend the extra money and get apple. Don't waste multiple trips to the store to save a couple bucks like i did.
