||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read some reviews that this adapter will not work on Macbooks (which is completely accurate) but i knew this before purchasing but thought i would try it anyway. It works fine on my Lenovo Yoga 910 with no issues. I read several reviews that this adpater would have issue with some laptops vendors/models, but i think that may have to do with the fact that the USB-C standard is very new and is not completely interopeable across all vendors yet..I have found that even the USB-C cable itself can make a difference in reliability. As for this adapter, it worked as advertised for my needs so i am giving it 5 stars.

Does What I Need It To Do

Now there is only one port and it is USB-Type C. So of course, I can no longer plug any of my externals directly into it. This adapter is reasonably priced compared to others. If my entire digital life wasn't bound up in my .mac email address, I'd never buy another Apple product.
