Reader works on my MacBook, my Linux desktop and my wife’s Windows 11 laptop. I got it for the compact flash reader but the SD / MicroSD slots work just as well. Reader comes with a normal USB connector and a USB-C adapter.

Saved My Project, Works Perfectly

I was grateful to be able to get it quickly as I had a project to process and had no way to read the cards (mine disappeared...possibly traveling the world...and the computer with an SD reader died on me). I have had no problem with this reader and I appreciate its ability to read CF, SD and Micro-SD cards. It is now attached to my desk with Command Strips so I can also take it with me when I travel, but I may just buy a second for travel.

I'm in video production and immediately after finish a location video shoot we transfer files to hard drives so they are carefully preserved. I do the same with still photography shoots. So this helps me with efficiencies and ensures I don't lose my footage if something happens to the media card. Also, why I love coming to Best Buy. I was in a bit of a hurry and the sales associate knew exactly what I needed and found it for me quickly.

I wanted the capability of transferring files to my phone & computer. purchased a cheap sd card reader from Cabela’s, that had a built in micro sd cord and it stoped working after only a few weeks. Then I purchased one from bestbuy that is cord-less and it would not work without taking off my phone case (witch was very inconvenient). The bestbuy team in Logan Utah was great on helping me exchange the one that was inconvenient to use and helped me find this one. This product is the best of both worlds as it is compact & has a removable micro sd cord. It is also better built then the other 2 I tried. The micro sd card inserts into the reader and locks in without the possibility of falling out before your finished. I would highly recommend this product.

I use it to download pictures from the 'community camera' at a local nonprofit organization to a computer and then into a shared cloud folder. Easy and intuitive to use. Comes with an adapter to fit USB A or C devices. Small size makes it easy to tuck into a drawer or onto shelf so it is always handy and ready when you need it.

Great Device to Have!

This was a replacement for a similar device that the CF card slot worn out. Since most computers don't have SD/CF slots this is almost a requirement for your SD/CF cards to upload/download data.
