I didn't know if it was the reader or my USB slot. Happily this device worked fine and did not loose connection even when wiggled.

USB card reader

That is why I purchased this card reader because I needed the microSD end. USB ports are moving to the smaller size it seems. So it helps to have both sizes.

I wish it had 2 ports for SD as that was main when looking for a new card reader, was being able to insert multiple SD cards, but i could t afford more. So it does the job at a good price!
