I bought these just because my desk needed a small speaker to listen to. Not the greatest speakers but worth the money. Only thing I wish it had were volume controls.

The speakers are a nice asset to my computer speaker system. It's nice that they are so compact and come with a nice carry bag. They are very light weight as well. Great purchase.

These speakers are pretty powerful. I hooked them up to my laptop and was amazed at the quality of sound. Not as tinny as I expected, although if base were included these would be the bomb. I am actually using these speakers for a project for Halloween. The speakers are powered by USB with an audio jack to plug into a headphone port. Nice speakers for the price!

Speakers are good with respect to its basics,the advantage is you can carry it easily with you.

These are good little speakers. They are perfect for sitting and watching/playing on your laptop. These are not BOSE quality, but they are perfect f all you need is something better then the speakers that are on your laptop. I especially like that they are usb powered...means that you do not need batteries for a decent pair of portable speakers and they are louder then the speakers that are only powered by the earphone jack.

The sound quality is awesome on the Insignia™ - USB-Powered Portable Speakers. Use it for laptop and max volume is 40% louder than laptop volume. Recommend for the price!

Being that these speakers are inexpensive, the quality is actually really good. Sound is clear and, somewhat obviously, don't expect much bass. These will do the trick.

I got these speakers to use for my mom and her tv. I added a volume control and it works perfectly!!!! She is able to set it next to her ear/head and be able to hear what she wants without blasting out the room. It is powered via a USB and this works well as it needed to be a powered speaker and be light enough for her handle. ALSO a big yes for this speaker set is the fact that it has a connector/plug that I feel is very safe and I am not worried about her safety. It actually came with one defective speaker plug so it's a good thing she really only needed one. The other one is out of her reach so it's not a problem. Love it.

wanted a better sound than what a laptop could give when I'm on the road. A thinner, flatter speaker that fits with laptop in travel case and easily fits on hotel room desks .
