As a best buy card holder and customer am very satisfied

I purchased two sets of these speakers. One for my laptop and the other for my girlfriend's. I use them more to watch movies or tv shows on my laptop rather than listen to music. Even when they are not turned all the way up, certain frequencies will make them squeal or rattle. It is very annoying. It has happened from the start and both pairs have this problem. Not sure if it is a design issue or a bad batch but will definitely ruin the mood of the show you are watching. . It sounds like a blown speaker sometimes. If I hold my thumb over the face of the speaker(only one of each pair seems to have the problem) that will keep it from "rattling" but obviously is not a solution. I have tried other things like putting tape around the edges to "cushion" the sound or maybe muffle the rattle but with no success. I am very disappointed in this purchase and would not buy again.

I really needed to amplify the sound of my computer.

Works perfect. No problem in install or operating.

They're okay. They are "no titan" but are okay. If you're attaching them to a computer, okay. If you're trying to hook them up to a small HDTV ... maybe.

using with IPOD shuffle instead of earphones volume fine

I bought the portable speakers thinking that they would be a great addition to my iMac and may also be able to use them with my iPad. Although the reviews stated that the sound quality was good; the built-in speakers of my iMac are better than the portables. Also they require a power source which makes them usable with my iMac only but not with my iPad on the road.

Speakers are fine for what I needed. Quality of sound is not the best, but you get what you pay for. For the price, they serve my purpose.

I have purchased this same item 3 times, namely because it does have great sound quality and is compact. The problem with each set that I have purchased is that the speaker wires don't seem to last more than 6 months. I take very good care of my things so it is NOT due to poor use on my part. The wires wear out very quickly.

My built in Laptop speakers were louder and of better quality.

One of the speakers had nothing but static, and the other played with light static.

Spend little more to get better speaker please. It's very annoying.

Don't waste your money on this set of laptop speakers - they may be inexpensive but delivery thin, flinty sound quality. Not recommended.

I bought these speakers to fit on a laptop stand which is kind of wedge shaped and so there is not a lot of space on either side of the 15.6" screen laptop. I needed speakers that were no more than 3.25" wide and these are 3" wide. Size wise they fit perfectly. These speakers have plenty of volume, especially if you have them next to a laptop. Sound quality is surprisingly clear; however, it's also noticeably bright. Obviously these speakers simply don't have the driver size needed for a lot of bass but I feel that they are still just a little too bright. Treble and high midrange is noticeably louder than low midrange. But for the price the sound is very good and I think most people will be happy with the sound quality.
