When you travel, usb powered is a big plus. Just put a DVD in the laptop hook up the speakers and enjoy with a friend !

When my old PC died, so did the speakers. It was just my luck. When I went to Best Buy to get the replacement PC, I picked up the speakers. I like my Insignia keyboard and mouse so I was hoping the speakers would be good too. For the price, they are perfect for me. They are a lot less bulky than my previous speakers and they have much better sound so I'm very happy with the purchase.

Just got these things a few days ago. They sound amazing compared to my friends' desktop speakers and they blow my monitor speakers away. If you want bass, don't get these, but I'm still shocked about how clear these things are even at higher volumes. If you want bass, get a speaker combo that has a subwoofer.

For those of you who own the SGS5 phone, you are aware that the waterproofing makes for a muffled, unfriendly music experience. And most tablets have pathetic speakers. Well this set of speakers solves the problem. Especially on the tablet, which I have a docking station for that these plug into. Very nice alarm clock when used that way. Of course having a PC with only a VGA port to attach to the TV leaves a little sound deficiency. These solve that problem, too. So yeah I probably need to go ahead and get a few more of these!

Excellent sound for my tablet that has no real sound of its own. Excellent price. Can use these speakers with my other tablets. Great feeling to know these speakers can be used for other sources of sound.

Like the title says, "are you kidding me"! I'm floored by the sound that's coming out of such an inexpensive item. I have them plugged into my 10 in. tablet right now and the sound is great. I use my tablet to listen to music and talk radio as where I live it's very hard to pick up any radio signals and the speaker in the tablet was okay but I wanted something with some more power and these little guys are perfect. I highly recommend them if you are on a budget. You won't be sorry.

I have very Low sound on this Work laptop Speakers, a Dell E6430 Latitude Laptop. With the noise from the Plant I can never hear my instruction videos. I needed some small Mobile Speakers that would Boost the sound up so I can hear. These speakers worked out Excellent.

when i saw the price tag. i wasn't really expecting much. i thought i'd get it anyways since im on a budget. but the sound is incredibly loud for this small compact. bass is terrific as well. should definitely have as a back up incase.

I'm just using these at home, not for travel, but I like that they're pretty small and have surprising sound! They definitely fill the room. Definitely a deal.

Got these to use with my Dell laptop, whose speakers are extremely poor. Guess I didn't read the reviews or specs carefully. These are very thin, which is great for portability, but means there isn't much depth to the sound. I have a couple of other pairs of speakers that were in the $15 range, which are of much more substantial build and give much richer sound than this pair. These are an improvement on the laptop's built in speaker, but still a disappointment.

I have bought 3 sets of these and recommended them to a friend. I like that you don't need batteries or electricity to use them. Just plug in the speaker and the usb and you are ready to go.

I needed some better-sounding speakers for my laptop. For my own personal space, alas, not to rock out or I would have spent the money for wireless. These have pretty good sound for the size and they would be great for travel. Major improvement over the laptop speakers! Thanks for the other reviews it was a big help.

Works pretty well for a USB powered speaker..i didn't expect high volume for the speakers so it meet the needs as aux speaker for my wife for Skype. tinny sound but to be expected for this type of flat speaker. Bought on deal of day so a good value.

I bought these expecting average speakers but they totally exceeded my all presumptions! They look great, sounds great, and price is great! Was 100% worth it!

I purchased these speakers to plug into my Samsung laptop to listen to some business audio presentations. The sound on my laptop was not loud enough, so I wanted an external pair of speakers to boost the audio capability. These speakers are not even as loud as my built in speakers! There is no additional volume control on the speakers either. Nice design, but inadequate! Returning back to Best Buy!!!

Speakers work well and turned out okay after I realized I was shipped an open box item. Not advertised as Open box, but turned out fine.

best sounding computer speakers I've ever had! Just plugged them in & turned on the puter to fine sound., took up less space than their predecessors yet sounded twice as good.
