    Needed a new adapter since the new laptop my wife has a USB "C" connector for external monitor. This plugged right in and worked right away displaying a duplicate of my wife's laptop screen. She used the external monitor as an extension. This adapter did the job.

    This is a handy little device to have with you when you find yourself needing to make a presentation and your laptop does not have a built-in VGA connection. This is the perfect little device, because your USB-C port becomes a VGA port. I bought this one as an open box special, so it was marked down which made it an even better find.
