Plugged this in and checked the settings and all works perfectly versus the docking station alternative.

So far I am very happy with them. The build quality is nice, it’s to cheap plastic. I would recommend this adapter to anyone who needs a vga adapter

Insignia - USB Type-C-to-VGA Adapter

Only problem - it still had a VGA port on the monitor side and my laptop had a USB-C port. I found this handy USB Type-C-to-VGA Adapter.

Desperate help me is a VGA cord that I had to go through the USBC port, and now everything works fine.

But it was the service that earned the 5 stars. I have been so pleased with the pleasant and helpful service at the Cypresswood Drive Store in Spring, Texas. Not only the associates but all the Geek Squad employees.

I could simply project my computer screen to my class projector immediately when I plugged the adapter in.
