    This case is very rugged. I am confident that if i were to drop my 3DS XL while being inside that it would be fine. Plus I got it during the DOTD so it was a no brainer.

    Nice case I just wish it fit the latest and greatest version. The case was about 1/8" on all sides too small.if you have the old version XL then it should work.
