Both times were a mistake (in hindsight) Everything about the description lead me to believe it was a dual USB to VGA and HDMI adaptor for monitors, not the case, matter fact I never really could understand what this is used for or why someone would buy it, it was one of the only adaptors available in store that should've been a red flag.

Needed a VGA to HDMI adaptor to connect to my laptop. Stopped in a local Best Buy and finally was able to ask a question of a sales person. All I needed was an adaptor to get the laptop and monitor to work. I was told this adaptor would do the trick. I did not work at all. I ended up returning the adaptor and buying an open box 24" monitor HDMI ready.

Your floor salesperson assured me I had the right part. I had already disposed of the package it came in along with the receipt
