A crazy-great value at $25 makes glitches tolerabl
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The crazy sale price at $25 makes this 18 W battery charged BT speaker totally worth it. The Google Assistant setup needed a few try/update/reset cycles to get them to work but all good now. (remember only $25...). ** Now the punchline... Can BB/Insignia provide _complete_ customer support when the firmware is provided by both their ODM and Google and the software is entirely from Google? My two speakers are assigned to the same audio "Group" but when I ask Google Assistant to set the volume for the whole group... Only one of two responds. I was on the Google Assistant Chat/BB phone support for 40min with no progress. Jasmine of Insignia support impressed me by saying she would get to Google in Monday and call me back. For all of us that adopt a smart speaker ecosystem and use a mixture of vendors... We will get these gaps in support coverage when the _system_ with contributions from both parties fall short (like this example between BB/Insignia and Google).. I'll keep you updated on how Jasmine makes out solving _our_ problem with audio group volume setting!

Fun & Functional
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 3 of these for my house and have several lights connected to it for hands-free operation. With dimmable, wifi bulbs you can verbally turn it on at 1 to 100% intensity. Add a color bulb with the same capabilities and you can verbally set color as well. Naturally you can get time, temperature, news, trivia information, play music, set timers, alarms, etc. etc. At $20, it was well worth the price.

Big sound for a small fee
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this speaker 2 moths ago and it has been a great addition to the house. The google home feature works just like my google home and the sound quality is great. The portability of this unit I think is the best part, it can be taken anywhere and used to streem music or be used as a Bluetooth. The size I would say would be the only draw back but with all the speakers and a sub it’s well worth it.

Great sound and usability
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like Google Assistant, you can't go wrong with this product. The sound fills the room with solid, balanced sound. It has an internal rechargeable battery that allows you to take it outdoors and provide music for 3-4 hours. The mic is sensitive and works great. We have ours in the kitchen/dining area and use it for morning agenda, news, and music. Also great for recipes.

Awesome alternative to the Google Home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use several Google Home devices including chrome cast audio for multi-room audio. I was looking at getting a more expensive alternative when I found the Insignia version and decided to pick it up when it was on sale. Since this has a bigger speaker the the standard GH, it's gets much louder and sounds really decent, not to mention it has a battery so I can take it around the house or even outside.

Turned out better than I thought
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was just looking for a bluetooth speaker for my house. And while looking, I realized I needed an alarm clock. This popped up, it happened to be Black Friday and I couldn't pass up the offer. I actually didn't realize until right before I was paying that it had Google Assistant too! I was like a little kid on Christmas! The sound quality is great and I use the Google Assistant everyday.

Awesome Smart Portable speaker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Smart portable Bluetooth speaker with built-in Google Assistant. Speaker has subwoofer that make speaker's sound quality perfect. I bought this product for 30 bucks on Thanksgiving. If this speaker is still available for that price then I definitely recommend this speaker over google home and google mini. Built in Google assistant easily catches voice from any corner of the room.

You can do no better for $40 or less
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I argue that this smart speaker is the best deal in all of tech when it is on sale. I bought 4 of these at $25 a piece and I couldn’t be happier. It bounces in price between $25 and $150. Sound wise: great for $25. Features: great for $25. Looks: bad but tolerable for $25. Battery life: very tolerable at $25 If this thing is on sale for $35 or less, get 2 of them, you won’t regret it.

fantastic deal if you get it on sale
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I managed to get mine of sale and it is a heck of a deal for the price I paid. It integrates perfectly with all my other google home devices. I didn't care about the google voice, which is supposedly doesn't support (yet?), but it does everything else I use my google minis for, while sounding better. AND it is portable, so I can bring it into the garage or back porch for background tunes

Great Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, I got these speakers at a great price--two for $50. I had to pair one of them with Google Home twice (the time zone wouldn't report accurately the first time), but no big deal. They work great and the sound quality is more than adequate for the bedrooms in which I use them. A small bonus--there is a USB charging port on the back of the speaker. I am very happy with this purchase.

Can't get better for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it in a sale and for the price I paid this is unbeatable. The sound is decent, bass is noticeable on some tracks. I love the alerm features and the fact that it displays weather when asked. I bought two of these and can now play the same song in two rooms and even play individual songs and control the songs on one through the other! Highly recommended if you get it in a deal

Awesome value and features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially bought one of these Insignia bluetooth speakers for the bedroom. After noticing the quality of the product and the sound coming out of it, I bought a few others for the house and a few for relatives. Even my parents who are in their late 70s have fun with this device specially now that the Google assistant understands other languages. Don't pass it up, get one or a few.

Best google home device!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Insignia version of Google Home is where its at! It has the same features as a regular Google Home but at a cheaper price! I didn't think that having the built in battery would mean anything. Boy was i wrong! I can take this thing anywhere i have wifi (in or out of my home). I also have the smaller Insignia Google Home for my master bedroom. A+++ in my book for both devices!

Good smart home device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good smart home device, although it's lacking the updated Google home features like routines and continuous command. Haven't seen a firmware update for it but if it comes then we would have the latest features (still no voice calling or texting with Google voice). Other than that, good f sounding speaker and fun to play around with device for a good price

Great for the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great bluetooth speaker with google assistant built in. I had the smaller version of this and thought that was great. This item has better sounds due to it having a larger speaker. I haven't tried using the item on battery power but knowing that i can is a plus. I would definitely buy it again (at the sale price) if my unit were to break down. Well worth the price.

Good Deal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We enjoy this product especially since we have other Google assistant products. We can now use broadcast to play music or alert family members anywhere in the house. It is the larger size speaker which sounds good without a bluetooth speaker. We love the alarm clock and ease of use. We found this on special and thought the price was great. Really enjoy using this product.

Great Speaker when on Sale
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got three of those, first, I got the smaller one about a year ago and I really liked the quality of the sound coming out from this little speaker, so I went on and bought the second one, the portable one, the sound was also good, I was really happy with it. Then best buy had a sale on the portable for $25 so I couldn't say no to this and I bought the second portable. I set the two portables in stereo mode and they really fill the room. So with a $50 budget, when on sale, you can get a very decent stereo system, no wires cluttering around, no extra stereo receivers, players, they are all into these speakers, Just say to play your kind of music and it plays it in a very decent way, not to mention the smart home capabilities. I also own amazon echoes and a cortana speaker (Harman Kardon Invoke) Comparing to the rest of the speakers the portable Insignias come third but very close to the echoes. Actually the smaller Insignia sounds way much better than the echo dot. The Harman Kardon sounds the best, but it's a dumb speaker compared to the echoes and Insignias. Cortana's app is very limited. I also like the clock display of the insignias, this is the reason that I bought the small one, I set it next to my bed, so when I wake up to see the time without having to ask what time it its, all the time.

Insignia Portable Google assistant speaker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found this product to be very good after using for a while. The Pros, Decent sound quality. Price is competitive. Comes with 5hrs of battery after plug off. Cons, Some times 'ok google' does not get picked up by mics. I already recommend to lot of my Friends and they are really happy with their purchase when it was on sale for $25.
