I just love my new insignia voice controlled smart portable Bluetooth speaker with alarm clock and Google assistant the price is half of what it typically typically cost anywhere else

I love this speaker its like my google home i have connected with my roku and other wifi devices and i can operate with this speaker. Sound output is like JBL speaker.

I love this speaker! Ive never been someone to talk to a speaker but this thing is awesome. Only thing I dislike is that anyone with the app can control my speaker since everyone in my house has one.

Device is OK. Does what it does for $20.00. Google assistant is responsive, however unable to decipher my voice over other noises live tv.

The Insignia brand has done nothing but impress me. I now have 4 of these smart speakers in my home (for the same price as one Sony) and they work flawlessly. Great value. Great product. Highly recommend!

I ended up not really using this that much but it sounds pretty decent. It just kind of collects dust right now.

The sound out of this speaker is good enough for listening to podcasts but not really much else. Musically, I found it lacking and very sensitive to the surface on which it rested. However, the Google Assistant is my real problem. I have three other Google Assistant devices listening for commands, but no matter which one I am close to, the Insignia speaker is always the one to answer. This makes it impossible to hear the answer you're awaiting when you're in another room from the Insignia speaker. Also, it doesn't display the second line of info as shown on the box.

I really like this item except for its size. The thing is huge compared to the version without batteries. Probably would buy it for a bedside alarm clock again but otherwise I like it.

I first questioned the Insignia brand, but after purchasing this smart-speaker, the brand has proven itself very likable. in fact, I like this speaker so much, I went out and purchased three more.

I bought this for $24.99. Now that I have tried it, I should have bought one for every room in the house. Excellent response. Voice recognition works for five different people at near 100% accuracy.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend. She has fallen in love with all the features it has to offer. I was recently over and heard it playing music...Great Sound! Might have to buy one for myself.

Sound quality was pretty good, mic worked well. Prob ok as long as you’re in the right ecosystems. The clock stays on but weather does not.

I bought this extra speaker so that I could take it outside with me when I'm working in the yard, etc. It was sort of on again off again.

Works great. Once setup, it evens hears my voice from across the room even with the TV going. However, I will not use it until they let me change the name. I will NOT call "hey google" to use it!

Already had a home mini (and 5 Echo/Dots), but this is a good-sounding addition. I like its much finer volume control (1-100 instead of 1-10) and time and temperature display. Great price also!

I've only used the speaker a few days but found it to be of good quality and very versatile. Here are the pros and cons as I see them. Pros. The speaker has good quality sound. It is not a high end speaker but better than just buying one of the assistants (Echo or Google). When turned up close to the max the sound gets slightly distorted, but has enough bass to carry even outdoors. The speaker is also easy to setup, and can be up and running in a few minutes. If you are new to Google assistant it can take a while to understand how all of this works. It is nice that the speaker is portable, and has enough battery life to carry outside or follow you wherever you go. Also, it is nice to have the Google Assistant built in, and makes the speaker more fun to have around than just a plain speaker. Cons. To me the biggest con is the Google Assistant. This is no fault of Insignia but you are not able to play music from YouTube (owned by Google) unless you pay for YouTube Red. This was pretty frustrating because you can play YouTube music for free from almost any app, but the one owned by Google wants you to pay. Also, I don't think the microphones for Google Assistant work as well on this speaker as others. When music is playing at a reasonable level it can have difficulty activating the assistant. And finally, pricing has been all over the place. Why does Insignia put a price tag of $149 on this and then sell it for $59? A few days later it is back to $99 but never sells near the MSRP. This doesn't detract from the product but makes me wonder about the value of this speaker. Overall, it is a good entry level speaker and assistant, especially if you get it at a low price. I would recommend it.

The only reason I bought this was because of the clearance price; it was like 70% off. It is a great smart speaker system, with lots of features. But the boost to 5 stars is due to price.

Much better quality than I expected from Insignea. For the price it is great ,Although it dose not do everything a google home will do.

Initially I was extremely excited about purchasing these speakers, until I noticed how huge they were when I unpacked them at home. Pretty basic. I only hooked them up to display the clock and weather. Once I noticed I had to download some google app to play music from my iPhone they sorta became uninteresting. Luckily I picked them up on sale. I’m giving them 3 stars because they aren’t bad, just not what I expected. Sometimes I spoke to the speaker and it would not say anything at all. Gave up after that.

Great sound but sadly it only lasted 2 1/2 years. No longer powers on. I bought two of them. The other one didn’t make it to two years.
