My phone links well to the device but the sound could be more powerful. I have an Amazon Alexa as well and the sound is much better. Still serves its purpose.

This product is great the only issue I have is with the Google app, they need to upgrade the capability because I'm stuff you ask it it keeps saying I'm not sure.

This smart Google speaker works as advertised. Next to my bed, it's very useful to get time or temperature in the dark. How did I live this long (75 years) without it? ;-)

As an inexpensive whole house audio solution, this unit isn't too bad. However, the google response is very poor. You definitely have to be "above" the top of the unit. I have one on a headboard in our bedroom, and when lying down it will not respond. I have to sit up and sometimes tilt it to get it to listen, even 8-12 in away. The mic should have been on the front of the unit i'm guessing. I've tested a home mini right next to it, and the mini responds. Other than placement it's pretty good.

This is a nice device for what I paid for it. Does what much smaller smart speakers do. Works great as a bluetooth speaker for living room.

When this was on sale for $24.99 it was a great deal, unfortunately I haven’t seen it in my Best Buy location for some time now, hopefully it’s not discontinued.

My uncle was surprised by the quality of this item. He never expected it to work as good as it has. He loves to brag about his gift. Awesome purchase.

This speaker is great for the price. The only reason I have it 4 point is because it is so depend of Google home, which makes a little bit harder to use .

It's okay, but it might get confused sometimes. It made calls and got fouled up the second week I had it I had to bring it in and exchange for a new one..

Great replica of Google home but the minimalist style is gone.....does what it says and works great .....just wish it was still portable but not so ugly.

Bought a few of them. They can all be link to play the same thing. I am able to cast music to all from my smart phone or tablet. Went back and got more for presents.

Pro: Good sound for the money. Clock. Battery backup. Con: Unreliable alarm clock if network connection is lost.

I bought this mainly because of the clock (which I can see at night). I like the Google features and have gotten quite used to them. I think this is worth having.

The sound quality is mid range. The functionality of the device is decent. If the time telling LCD is a little bigger. It will be 5 stars product...

the only thing it lacks it the ability to pick up my voice. the Alexa does much better. when the alarm is going off, you have to yell at it to snooze

I got it on sale, and use it every day. The microphone doesn't always hear me clearly if there is moderate noise in the background.

I love my Google Assistant by Insignia. After seeing the selling price of the competitors I almost felt guilty. I'm thinking of getting a second for my bedside.

This portable speaker is a great tool for my teens to start learning how to be connected. They love being able to ask it anything and setting their own alarms.
