I purchased two of the Insignia-Voice Smart units as Xmas gifts so my review is limited to pricing and sound quality. I preferred the larger unit to the smaller version due to better sound quality of the google assistant voice as well as the surround music quality. I gave 5 stars because of the incredible price I paid for these units.

The speaker is better than the minis. Actually, it's quite impressive for as small and cheap it really is. It provides better sound than the regular alarms, and if you watch the price, you can get it for as low as $25, which makes it worth every penny. The battery holds up for 5 hours as promised and it will fill a room with sound.

I bought this speaker as a gift for my wife for her birthday. From the moment she opened it, she loved it. She smiled the whole time she set it up. I enjoyed it so much, that I went out and bought a second one for myself. The sound is great, the Google Assistant is very helpful, and syncing my accounts couldn't have been any easier.

This would be worth the price even just for the bluetooth speaker, which sounds great and is more than loud enough even for large rooms. On top of that you get Google Assistant, alarm functionality, etc. One minus, if it loses network connectivity, pretty soon the clock displays dashes, I would have expected it to keep the clock.

I bought this as we have converted to Google home from Alexa and this was on sale. I use it on my night stand as my clock radio and it also performs routines for me when I go to bed and get up in the morning. This one has a battery to make it portable but I will not be taking it outside until at least spring.

I caught this item on sale and also use one of my review/member certificate coupons! My child Adores this item! It has a really awesome sound and bass. It be up sooooo loud I can hear it in my room with the door closed!! I'm in the front and the item is located in the back of the house.

You can also use this as a multi music group with Google to stream your music. The output is excellent considering the little money it cost. This is one purchase I will never have buyers remorse. The sound has nice highs and lows even turned up quite loudly. The pickup with Google response is very good from quite a distance.

This speaker is pretty good. Fortunately I was able to buy it on sale for $25!!!!!!! Zero complaints from me as far as the price goes. The speaker is heavy on the base but you can adjust that. Google assistant works good and the microphones are pretty good at picking up your voice even with music playing.

Bought this kinda on whim and have to say I am pretty darn happy with the purchase. Not knowing the full extent of what it can do, it does have very acceptable sound quality and it will play loud. Only complaint would be battery life but considering the power needed to put out the volume that it can it's understandable.

First off, I have to mention that I got this item while it was deeply discounted, I didn't pay anything near retail. That being said, this thing is excellent, it arguably sounds better than the original Google Home, and the clock feature makes it nice to use in the bedroom. If you find it on sale I highly recommend it.

This speaker does most things very well. It sounds good, it has good features, built in battery, and seems good overall. Sometimes it doesn't pick up my voice too well, but I'm not sure if that is on Insignias end or Google's. I wish the speakerphone option worked, maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I can't get it to. Solid product.

I picked this up on sale and it has not disappointed. It did stumble a bit on the initial setup, but after it finally connected to my home network, it's been great. Sound quality is great and it gets loud. Not going to be as full of sounds as high end devices, but for the price, I'm happy with it.

excellent sound, perfect size and good battery life

Bought this speaker on a Deal of the Day at a great price. This is an excellent quality speaker with great sound for a portable unit. The Google Assistant features are a terrific bonus. Having the Google Home App and all its features without having to buy a full priced Google Home unit is an outstanding value!

The Insignia™ - Voice™ Smart Portable Bluetooth Speaker and Alarm Clock with Google Assistant is an excellent purchase. It really does work with my Google home and minis that I already have in the house, but the sound is much better than the mini's. I really like the battery power and bluetooth options as well!

Why was this discontinued? I liked the first one so much, I bought this one as a gift for a friend getting into home automation. It's in my humble opinion the best night stand alarm clock radio. Then when you add Google assistant, it's just a great product that does what it's supposed to do

Sound is better than my Bluetooth speaker with the same wattage. Microphone is sensitive even when across the room. I can play the same apps that are played on my Amazon dot. Convenient to carry from room to room without plugging it in. I might buy another one to play in a different room.

purchased before black Friday for under $30 - have seen then for +/- $100 since. We have Amazon equipment all over the house, but I couldn't resist purchasing for our spare room. I have been very happy with the quality of the sound and ease to pair with cell phone and TV (voice commands thru device).
