I am not so impressed with sound quality of the product

I am giving them to a couple of my kids for xmas gifts

It did not understand what I was saying, 70% of the time.

Upon opening and setting up speaker it would never adjust time zone on the front went through all prompts and set it up correctly a couple different times just to make sure. so we contacted insignia for further instruction. The rep went into asking a billion questions of how it was bought, when it was bought, where was it bought etc, etc this was very frustrating as all we wanted was if it was a known issue or something on there end as far as the time zone not changing the times, we never got it resolved and became more of headache than it deserved. Returned to bestbuy no questions asked.

Good for office. Not as good as cats. I preferred cats.

Got this at a great price but I have to keep resetting it every two or three days. It doesn’t always stream 1010 Wins in the morning. Gets frustrating. I had the Echo Dot and never had this problem. The display time is also small with no option to enlarge.

Depending on how old this is, setup can be a long drawn out process. Mine eventually setup overnight and worked. Wish intructions were more thought out. Troubleshooting...you pretty much are on your own. Paid 25 bucks so lol can't be but so frustrated.

Took one of these home and it would never finish uploading my library or play what was uploaded. Returned and replaced; new device completed upload. Sometimes played music from library just fine, other times "that song is only available to subscribers'", even though it was visible in my library. Other times would find the song, announce it would be played, then "Sorry, something went wrong. Try again when you are ready." A few hours later, the "Sorry" message occurred on every attempt. Web search shows MANY people with same problem on Google Home brand speakers, no fixes except factory reset, which did not work.

It seems it is not a priority to keep this device up to date, some of the best features of a Google Home device are stripped on this device making it extremely frustrating. IF you already own a Google home or Google home mini you WILL be disappointed, this device its not up to date. So far all ive found on my searches is that there is no plans to update them or they cant tell you. and some of the features it does have are buggy (like the routines, dont work all the time).

I was expecting a smaller speaker purchasing this, and when trying to use it, had flashbacks of laying stone pavers on my patio. Very large for a portable speaker. The clock on the front is nice though

Really enjoyed the functionality until it started blinking and indicating that it was running an update perpetually. Hard resetting lasted only about an hour until it started to fail again

Loses time when internet goes out and needs to be manually reset, not a problem except when yu count on it for alarm and internet goes out in the middle of the night.

I like it but google assist literally can’t hear a single thing I say, very frustrating. It’s not as easy as the amazon products for sure.

The speaker stopped working in less than two months. Purchased based on (crap) reviews for Christmas present. Best buy won't take it back. Pain to send to company. Googled solution to fix it and found nothing to work. Will not Connect anymore to phone no matter what we try even a total reset. Apparently this has been a huge, ongoing problem. Watch out for tech marked down at best buy. Likely to indicate problematic tech not found in the "5 star" reviews. Very disappointed!

I bought one of these for each of my sons and have had problems with both. It took forever to initially set them up. The firmware updates are supposed to only take a couple of minutes but actually took more than a day. After finally getting them to work properly they both stopped working. The first stopped after about a week then the other one a few days later. Google home would not reconnect with them and I attempted to reset them and start from scratch but they still wouldn’t work.

Not as expected at all! Does a lot of cool things and I did get this in a good special but nothing I was looking for.

This is by far the word product I have ever purchased. It does not sync up to your phone correctly, if it does it does for only a few days. Turns off by it's self. Does not understand you because they want you to set up everything in the google home app but once you finish everything it still says not finished even tho nothing is showing! Now, mine just muted and no way to unmute it, so that's nice. Taking this back. Worst purchase. STAY FAR AWAY! if you get one for free, throw it away.
