Very good speaker for bed room. I like music quality. I felt base is more. Upto 60% volume sound is very low. Need improvement is volume tuner calibration. Kids are enjoying the Google assistant by playing rhymes.

It's Perfect For The Bedroom! If You Can Get It On Sale It's Cheaper Than A Google Mini. The Sound Quality Is Amazing For The Size/Price. You Can Now Stereo Pair Them Together So Consider One For Each Side Of The Bedroom.

This is a great replacement for my clock radio and a awesome intro to Google home. I set alarms with it and paired it with a wireless plug adapter and can now turn on and off my light remotely or by speaking to the unit.

This has been a great addition to the house. The alarm clock is one of the best I have had, the kids enjoy the extra interactions, and having music anywhere without having to connect my phone to a speaker has been wonderful.

My review of the insignia voice portable voice activated speaker with google assistant built in is its great it does so many things my favorite is just say hey google play music an it goes to your choice in music love it

Google assistant is flawless and works more quickly than my phone. The bass is full sounding and with the assistant one can get free music with just a command. The best product for me of the year ! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !

Got two of these and they sound 5 times better than the google home minis, and also include battery so you can take outside in the yard, nice job.. keep your eye open for the sales, I paid $80 for one and the other $29

Got this on sale at just under forty dollars. Even if I had paid full price I would be satisfied with this product. It’s a google home wrapped up in a sleek clock/Bluetooth speaker combo & im happy with the sound quality.

Better than a Google Home Mini. I picked it up on sale for $50, it was going for $40 a week later. At this price I think it's worth it. It sounds better than my mini, and about as good as my reg. Google Home, but louder and with a battery. It has a deeply "scooped" sound profile lacking a lot of mid-tone clarity. It will play some low notes the reg. Home can't play, and the highs are a lot brighter.

I purchased this item because it was on a super-discounted sale and I wanted to see what all the fuss was concerning smart homes and voice assisted commands. After playing around with it for a week or two I can really appreciate the convenience of voice commands. This is an evolving technology but so far it has been great for listening to music, setting reminders, getting weather and time updates, listening to news, doing math calculations, getting driving distances, etc. Specifically, I would recommend that you purchase this item with its rechargeable battery both for its 5 hour portability and the quality of the sound. The built-in carry handle is a real plus. I can see myself adding smart outlets in the future to be controlled by voice command.

Loved this Bluetooth speaker. It comes with google assistant as well. Great sound for a small device. I love the portability of it. I wish they didn’t discontinue the item.

I got this product on sale. Decided to give it a shot. Wow! Great sound. The assistant is very intuitive. Follow the instructions, download the update and you won't go wrong. Love the alarm feature..

A modestly priced portable speaker (it's Insignia, after all) that uses Google's Voice Assistant to do virtually everything that is now expected of a smart speaker. You issue voice commands and receive voice feedbacks in much the same way that you would using any of the Google smart speaker products such as Google Home. The one exception is that you cannot make telephone calls in the way that you can with a fully integrated Google product. The quality of the speaker is exceptionally good; as good, I think, as Google Home; except that the Google Home Speaker has a smaller footprint. The Insignia is boxy and has more of the standard appearance of electronic equipments before Silicon Valley took over the field. I recommend it, its throwback design notwithstanding.

This is a great item to have if you are looking for a Google Assistant. It provides all the features of a Google home and more. Setup up is easy and it sounds great for the price. Buying more first chance I get.

It's really nice how you can unplug the power cord and use it on its own too for roughly 5hrs. It also has bluetooth with it which is great. I got this with a good price ($25) and it doesn't really disappoint.

As a speaker the sound is great. I believe the sound quality is superior to that of the Google Home. The fact that this is portable (has about a 4 Hour Battery Life) Makes it even better. Unfortunately, the selling point is that the speaker is google enabled. It cannot make calls and some times the speaker struggles to hear my voice when played at a volume level 60% or above. It gets frustrating to yell at the top of my lungs and the speaker ignores my voice. Again audio and alarm clock and portability is 5 star. Unfortunately, the Google limitations brings my review to 3 stars.

When on sale, it's cheaper than the Google Home Mini, yet has all the functionality and way better speakers. It's perfect for the bedside table and the larger version has a battery so you can move it around.

The sound quality is much better with better bass and treble than the standard Google speakers. On sale so it was 1/4 the normal price. The driver for the speaker is big enough to create louder volume levels.

the portability is the best feature about this. I can carry it around the house and have it anywhere. THe sound is good enough, i just wish the clock was bigger and the temp displayed all the time

I liked it. Pretty easy to set up and very convenient. Portable so able to take anywhere. Price was great, bought 3 without breaking the budget. (2 were gifts). Definitely something I'd recommend to others.
