I am not a fan of having a device in my home that's always listening. However, I have found this to be a great addition to our house. It plays all my music. I move it to the kitchen to play my podcasts while I cook. The sound is great from such a small speaker. Ironically, I have yet to use this as an alarm clock. I wake up 2 hours before my SO, so I just use my phone. I don't know if it's worth the regular price, I got it on a student deal for $35.

Love this speaker - we actually loved it so much we now have 2 of them. We have the small one and the larger one. The battery life is very long on the larger one since it is portable; and that is awesome! We talk to it all the time, ask about weather and traffic. It is very helpful when you are in a hurry. Would recommend to anyone in need of a portable speaker :)

Cheap not means bad... on the contrary... Very good noise, good quality of volume. I recommend this product.

Got this on sale it has everything you need in a bluetooth speaker. Plus its wireless. The sound is good.

What can I say about these? I am making my whole home Smart enabled and have these in almost every room. I started out with one and was so impressed I ended up getting new ones every time they went on sale. They work with all my Smart devices and I have music in every room. The speakers are perfect for listening to music at a level that won’t drown out conversations while playing in the background. Does everything Google device does for less $$.

I was looking for an easy to use alarm clock and saw this speaker that shows the time. It does what the Google Home Speaker does. There are 2 sizes and I like this one because it fits my night stand better than the larger model. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't answer all of my questions or have some of the local radio stations I want. NOTE: I bought 2 of these speakers in different sizes so my reviews will be similar.

I bought this speaker on sale it works great so far, it has most of the features of a regular Google home but is lacking a few too. The pros overcome the negatives and that's why I would recommended as a smart speaker for playing music and searching while your phone is away or your hands are busy. Google assistant integration work for me with the Nvidia Shield, I can't seem to get it to work with my Samsung Robot Vacuum.

I purchased this for my wife for a replacement alarm clock and a wireless speaker for our bedroom. It took some time to learn the "OK Google" commands but it works really good. The sound is amazing. Google Assist is not as good as Siri or Alexa, but for the average person, it is just fine. I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 because Google Assist does not warrant 5 stars. But the speaker and unit itself is 5 star worthy.

If you want Google Home and don't absolutely need Google Home, this is the best substitute. Works with the same platform app as Google Home, easy to use and set up. The speaker is insanely loud, never needed to put it higher than 70%. Still trying to figure out how to make it set reminders, make lists, and alarms, but its a perfect kitchen assistant can easily ask it to play any song or artist on Spotify and set timers for cooking without skipping a beat.

I have a google home along with two google home mini's at home, I will say that this is way better than all of them! I always had problems with google home, i say HEY GOOGLE like 10 times before it listens. With this speaker i would have to say it 2 times max, it also has WAY BETTER SOUND! and i bought it on sale and way CHEAPER! I highly recommend this!

This is a great speaker its a little big but the sound that comes out of this thing is amazing! I snagged one onsale for $25 I think it sounds way better thin the google home and google home mini. It didnt use to support calling or stereo pairing but now you can pair 2 of them in stereo and also make calls i would have paid around $100 for this product.

This smart speaker has incredible sound in addition to the Google Assistant feature. And a great price.
