I picked this up for my daughter and and she absolutely loves it. She said it was easy to setup and use, plus the sound is great. She uses it all the time plus as an alarm clock. She loves the Google Assistant integration as well.

I bought two of these while they were on sale. Used 'em for a few days and immediately bought two as a house warmer for my daughter. (+)Great sound from a little speaker (+)Bluetooth connection easy, especially with "Hey Google" (+)Love the portability. Unplug it and carry around the house while working on projects. It has a nice handle inset that makes it easy to carry. (+) If you've worked with Google Home already it's easy to set up (+) Very easy to cast to or play music services like Spotify (+) It even has a clock on the face. (-) Temperature display lights up for a second when you ask the temp. Not sure that's useful. (-) Doesn't seem like the microphone array picks up commands as well has as Google Home.

The insignia bluetooth speaker has an amazing sound quality for its price. It has plenty of bass and the ease of set up is great. I would definitely recommend this speaker for anyone that needs a bluetooth application.

What a great speaker. It gets quite loud, and the tonal quality is excellent for the size. I love that it plays from my Google Play Music account, and the Google assistant works well. I would highly recommend this!

I had been listening to music in my vehicle using an Echo Dot (Alexa) with a battery pack and a cord into the vehicle audio system. Kinda cumbersome, but it worked. Now I just carry my rechargeable Insignia Voice and set it on the seat. MUCH easier. It has plenty of volume. I also enjoy using the Voice as a bedside clock-"radio". I can go to sleep listening to whatever type of music I want, or to my favorite radio station. (It's in Cheyenne, Wyoming.) The main difference between using the Voice vs. the Echo is the difference between Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Each one has its strengths, and I don't have a strong preference. The portability and sound quality of the rechargeable Voice makes it my most-used smart home device.

Hello everyone, I wanted to start off by saying I love Insignia products. They are reasonably priced and work well. I actually owned the smaller version which I got last year and works absolutely great. So I did a little research and waited for this bigger one to go on sale and when it did I jumped at the chance to get it for $25. Upside, you can use it portable without being plugged it all the time like the smaller model. It’s also bigger which means more sound. And lastly I like the black on black finish. Down side, I can’t figure Out hot to make the temperature display like it says it can on the instructions and more importantly it NO LONGER HAS A USB SLOT. I used that one slot on my old model daily connected for my Apple Watch and it worked perfect. Maybe this is just my own fault for not looking into it, but I thought it would have if not one usb slot maybe two since it was bigger. To my surprise nope didn’t have it. I’m still going to keep it, but it Was disappointing finding out a key feature was now gone from the bigger size model. Oh well, maybe next model they’ll add it back.

This insignia speaker is great. Best speaker for the money you can buy. Great sound, easy portability, and I love that it shows the time. It is on the larger side but for my applications the size is perfect.

Not ony great sound but portable and with Google assistant , I can not only play my play list by just asking but can access internet for information. My wake up call provides weather and traffic. Love it!

Great for a night stand because of the display. Sometimes clock loses connection but a restart recovers. Battery lasts pretty well. Good sound for taking outside

The speaker works great. Good sound with surprisingly good bass. Easy setup. Love the probability and lasts a few hours. Would deff recommend if you catch it on sale @ 25. Can't go wrong at that price.

Amazing sound, simple to use. My 5 year old can even get it to play music or ask google questions. Unbelievable how loud it goes while playing music. Like so much I bought 4 more for xmas presents!

Well worth it for the price. Very responsive with few problems with commands and has nice sound. There is minimal bass but more than most competitors. Easy to pair and easy to set up

This is our fourth insignia Google home device and we are very pleased with it. This portable unit is quite a bit larger than the non portable version. The sound is very good and the mic picks up vocal commands from long distances. In addition to the usual tasks, we actually use this every night as a white noise generator and daily to create shopping lists. Definitely recommended. I would have given it five stars if it was as functional as Google home devices. For some reason whenever a new feature roles out from Google it'll work for a short time and then it'll stop. This was particularly annoying when continued conversation disappeared.

I like that one small device can do so much. It is a Google assistant, bluetooth speaker, clock, and alarm clock. It is easy to move it from room to room, or out on the patio.

This speaker is great. Works just as well as my Google Home Mini at responding to questions/tasks. Speaker definitely sounds better, though which is great! A little bigger than I would have expected. A little confusing and easy to miss in the description, but this version has an internal battery, which allows it to be unplugged and moved somewhere where a plug may not be as accessible. I love this feature, sets it apart from the Google-made device. I got this on sale for what feels like a steal. I would've paid more but definitely not the full list price. Not really an issues as it's pretty much always on some sort of sale. Overall, a great speaker!

I had to access the forum to figure out how to set an alarm with music. Being this is a fairly new product the literature (manual) is not completely up to date. By saying "Set a music alarm for 6:00 AM every day of the week" the assistant will ask what music and you say what what you want to hear and the alarm is set. To make sure just ask "Are there any alarms set?" and if you did it properly the assistant will tell you how many alarms and what the are. It is also possible to use the Insignia Connect App on the play store to do the same thing. I prefer the verbal commands because I do not always have my table handy. Great product, in my opinion anyway.

I own the non portable earlier but this one is huge but portable, must have for your living room and it solves the purpose manages your thermostat, controls light, TV everything you ask

I am really glad I decided to purchase this! I use it for an alarm clock and also for quick inquiries. The speaker is great for music and the portability just adds to it's coolness.

Bought this for a Christmas gift but couldn't wait in case it didn't work! The sound is great, plays radio and songs in your playlist from phone, tell it to play whatever you want and the Google assistant does it! I'm so happy I got it on sale for $24.99. Very pleased with it! I have a Bose SoundLink and there's not much difference in the sound if you can believe it! I read the reviews and knew you couldn't make or answer calls but maybe Google and Insignia will do an upgrade in the future. I bought the smaller Insignia Voice Assistant/Alarm model as well, he hasn't been able to get it set up yet so hope it works just as well.

Love this speaker, the fact that its portable and has google assistant is amazing and for the price you cant beat it. bought it when it was on sale for 39.99. will buy again.
