Unit had a simple label on it that a firmware updates needs to be done. However, it doesn't explain how that is done. So, just plug it in near your router, WALK away for 10-15 minutes, it self-creates a temp hot-spot so as to do the firmware update. When you come back, you can configure it to your system via GOOGLE Home app. Once it is up and going, its good. And, the instruction sheet/manual picture depicts the temp being displayed on the front, but that is only temporary, as it fades away after a bit - give me the option to have it on, off, or fade away - or put it in the manual what happens. You tech type people have forgotten that the average user is not like you!

I picked this up for only $25 as a Deal of the Day. Decent speaker but it wouldn’t be worth the normal price of $149. Good, not great sound, and the Google Assistant is slow to respond.

I really like this speaker and got two so that I could pair them and play music in stereo. It has become my go to clock radio and now use it everyday. The google home feature is awesome. The only negative is the light from the clock is a little bright

It's a good smart speaker for google home but not so with other name brands. Got it on deal of the day for a excellent price but to me its just a fancy online digital clock.

I am very pleased with my purchase. I been use this item for 2 years now and it is still something I use daily. I use it as speaker, reminder, weathercast, and even as a phone to make calls.

i tried this speaker despite so many other popular brands. but it was good for the sale price. Can't compare to some of the top brands but first time investment is fine. Can't recommend coz of the design, it's not appealing.

I have been on the Alexa for some time venturing into Google land was intimidating at fist but it is quicker faster and more reliable HANDS DOWN! Also the insignia brand I have gown to trust! The removable speaker is a plus I did not even notice when buying!

Bought this smart speaker last month. Very easy to set up and so far no problem with functionality. I am little confused about showing temperature on the display.I was thinking that temperature should be there without using google assistance.

I have this in my master bathroom and it works great. I can ask it questions and get morning information. I have it hooked up to my Sirius/XM and Amazon Prime account also. It works great with most voice assistants.

It is easy to use and works pretty well and voice recognition is pretty high so very little issues there. Mostly like the product for music in bed and alarm feature....so much easier to set than a regular clock or cell alarm.

Not as loud and clear as one would hope. For the same price if 25$ it is a good speaker, but not for 149$. Don’t recommend as a house sound system but as a travel speaker.

this is a great alarm clock for the bedroom. there was a recent update that always shows the temperature now so its great waking up knowing how the weather is outside. as a bonus, you can cast music to it using chrome browser.

I paid like $30 for this speaker. Works great I have zero complaints. Since purchasing it several of my friends bought the same speaker because of how good of a deal it was.

The sound quality is amazing. Unfortunately, it disconnects far too easily. Also, Alexa is just better at this point. Mine has been collecting dust for a while.

Overall, I like this product, but wish it would operate longer on the battery. When I read 5 hours operating time I assume that was playing music, and not just standby time (with only the clock display operating).

Product worked very nicely and sounded great. Very nice, however in comparison to the Google Home assistant it was behind the curve and the Google was cheaper with more features.

The speaker is decent enough and has the full features of a Google Assistant. Any issues I saw are related to Google Assistant's software than with the speaker. It's very not intuitive for adding smart home stuff.

it actually is a great product... bought it on sale for 29.99 the problem is it sometimes cant understand or hears what you are saying but i’d still recommend it...

i bought two of these for my daughters. one loves it and uses it all the time; the other doesn't even have hers plugged in. So mixed bag from kids reviews. I thought they were great values.

I went in looking for in affordable speaker system for my salon found this and I could not be more pleased it is so accommodating to my work environment and my home environment that I came back and bought a second one shortly after
