I bought this for my teen. She loves it. It fits in her backpack and connects very easily to her phone. The sound was clean and loud for its size. Works well in the kitchen or medium sized living room. Charges fairly quickly.

This is a great Bluetooth speaker! It is loud, crisp, and clear. You don’t need a bunch of bass when it comes to this speaker. Long lasting charge! There are no negatives about this. You should definitely consider purchasing!

Purchased this for my daughter as a Christmas gift. It puts out enough sound to fill a bedroom but not loud enough to disturb the whole house. It has clean sound until at top volume.

I bought this speaker on disount at $15. Produces awesome sound, good bluetooth range and long lasting battery.

The speaker has decent sound and seems to last fairly long on a single charge, for the price, its a great deal, for sure.

I've paired this with a Kindle Fire and have an Insignia Brick for comparison. The sound on this is clear and much brighter (*see below) than the Brick which tends towards the bassy side. I would like it except for a number of flaws. 1. I use the Kindle to mostly watch videos. The Wave2 sound is just enough out of sync to be irritating. The Brick is spot on. 2. That wouldn't be a problem for songs only. However, the Wave has a buzz that is not present when listening with the Brick or just the Kindle's own speakers. 3. The Wave dies only a few hours after being unplugged and then has to be recharged. The Brick lasts for days but it does have a bigger battery and is substantially heavier.

Overall great sound and easy to use, but the volume is too low. I purchased this speaker for my GS troop to practice caroling with music. Unfortunately, the chatter of 10 little girls drowned this speaker out. It was impossible to hear the music. The only way this speaker would work for playing music around a group of people would be a room of complete silence.

This speaker was better than I expected. I bought it as a Christmas gift and when my daughter turned it on, I thought someone was playing the TV at a loud volume. I had no idea a portable speaker could produce quality sound. I just bought it so I have no idea how the longevity of this speaker is, but for now, it's awesome!

I'm not rating a speaker based on the fact it was on sale for 9.99. I'm rating it based on the fact it's normally $40. And for $40 this speaker isn't worth it unless it's for a child or for the purpose of playing flute music or something unimportant. First song I decided to play to test out the sound was Pentatonix Deck the Halls. They're an a cappella group, but their bass is always amazing. The volume couldn't go past the halfway mark without sounding terrible and the bass wasn't there at all. I didn't buy this to host parties or anything, I just like to fill my house with music for myself sometimes and I'm going to just stick with my smart TV. Also it's not additional volume; it's using the volume on your connected device. I didn't see anyone mention that before. So once my iphone was at the max, that was it; although as I stated you don't even want the speaker volume that high up depending on the type of music you're listening to.

Got this Insignia on sale $10 which it's a good deal.. but don't expect it to be a loud speaker. Overall it's a good buy if it's on sale.. but if you are looking for a louder bluetooth speaker with more bass .. I suggest you pay the extra $$$ for better quality and sound.

I was lucky enough to get this on sale for $9.99! Sturdy, well built, great sound, enough to fill a small room.Decent bass for the price also. Rubber feet prevent it from sliding around. Its a good speaker even at full price!

Excellent product! I bought as a birthday present for my son on sale at a great price. My daughter loved it so much that she kept “borrowing” it! So of course I bought another for her Christmas gift. It has been 2+ years later and they are both working just as well as when we first bought them. I’ve come back looking for another for my fathers work room. Highly recommend!

Wonderful speaker that paired well with my tablet. Great Music quality and battery life. Make a great gift for college and high school kids.
