Ive had this speaker for about 3-4 weeks now. Ive tested it in different rooms, in cars, at work and outside. Ive tested it on high volume and low, and tested it with songs that had lots of bass to none.I also got this speaker on a good sale. I bought four of them and tested them all with different devices.
Pros: Its a nice little speaker that fits practically everywhere. Put it on shelves or on the floor, in small corners or in a pile of laundry, it'll more then likely fit. The range is crazy good, i went from the basement of my home to the attic and it could still connect via Bluetooth. The volume goes fairly high and low. I could still hear it from the attic. Its very light and simple. Hardly any work is needed with it in terms of connecting and turning it on. The battery life seems to last longer then specified and charges fast. As far as ive tested, the mic works as well as my phone and friends/family can still hear me fine. Its got an aux cable and the cable it comes with is easy to use. Great if you want to go swimming or to the park. Thin and sleek. It can get very loud. Even better if you put on makeup or take showers and want to hear some music in the bathroom.
Cons: The speaker almost sounds like it has no bass, so for anyone who likes the rumbles in your tum, this wont be for you. Something that drives me crazy is connecting the Bluetooth to a device with this speaker. If you connect it, no matter what device it is, the volume is never correct. For example: I turn the speaker on and my phone on and connect the two. I have a set volume on my phone and ill start playing music on it. The speaker however, turns it 50% louder and then goes down, then up, then down. When you try adjusting it on the phone, or any device, it goes up and down randomly without warning until it finally settles. (ive tested this on different devices and different speakers.) SO be careful if your trying to be quiet about it, your secret song you like might end up being played really loud. Speaking of the Bluetooth feature, if you connect more then one device previously, say i connected my iPad through its Bluetooth, but then disconnected it at some point and connected my phone instead and then turned it off for the night, the next time I turned the speaker on, ( if both devices are in the speakers range,) it'll connected to the first one paired as soon as it turns on and without warning it'll start playing music really loud. So then you have to get the first device and disconnect the Bluetooth again, then connect the one you want to use. Its such a hassle I almost feel the need to toss it sometimes, especially if im in a bad mood, hah. The cords not very long to charge it with. It has a hard time playing loud songs depending on the song.
Extra: Its about the size of a soda can and a half of one. Or a toothbrush. I got a picture with one of them. The holes easily get dust in them.
YOU CANNOT connect two at a time. I saw in the comments you could, but you cant. The black color is deep black, kinda hard to see the buttons, so if you have bad eyesight, the buttons are on the top, indented into the speaker. But the black will match with any color. It IS NOT waterproof. Those that say it is, are probably meaning another speaker.
