I know I didn't pay much for this, but based on reviews I expected better. I purchased this to use as a bluetooth speaker in my office. It's a nice looking speaker and fits an office decorum well. First day I had to plug it in to charge it up. HInt: use a wall charger - the one that came with it is a usb charger and it is very short. Otherwise will be waiting longer. Once charged, it paired easily with my phone. For convenience I then plugged it into my laptop docking station while I used the bluetooth to play from my phone to it. Leave for the day, next morning expect to just start streaming from my phone, but speaker needs charged up? Did I leave it on? I don't know, so same routine, except when I went home I powered off the speaker. Next day, has to be charged up again. Ok, so I didn't have it plugged in to the wall charger overnight - but it was off and had battery power when I shut it off. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but today is third straight morning and I have to charge it up before using it. Not useless - but very annoying. Will be looking for a speaker now that doesn't depend on battery. Sounds good for what I need.

I bought this speaker on sale for $9.99. I loved the compact size but the sound quality is not that great. First it is not that loud. I use it on my vanity while I'm putting on my make up. Second you start to hear static when the volume is high. I can hear what I'm playing it the room is not too loud but not good enough to put out at a party or bbq.

It's not that loud it lacks on speaker power and audio. It did connect pretty fast but didn't feel a good punch or vibe once music is being played. The jam touch, Sony speaker and jbl pack a better loud punch. This is good for some young kids to play there music in there room or riding there bike is not loud enough to annoyed you.

If you are using an android phone or if you want to listen to music from your computer this is the product for you. It pumps out loys of sound. The only downside for me is having to charge the device from my laptop but this is my only inconvenience. I had purchased because I wanted to listen to music from my iPhone which is NOT possible.

I was not really expecting the Boss or Sony kinda sound from this but hoping for at least Anker level quality. But the sound from this speaker was really poor. Bass and Low frequency are non existent. This product really changed my perception towards the Insignia Brand. I will try to avoid the brand at all.

I should’ve known that paying so little for a speaker would get me the quality I got. If you don’t need any bass or trouble then go for it!

Wanted something that would help fill up a small room with sound more than my phone. This is barely louder than a phone speaker and there is no bass with low sound quality.

Although it is good value for money option, if someone is looking for cheap price. But quality of voice is very much low compared to other options available in market.

I've had plenty of Insignia branded products over the years but this is by far the worst one. I got this on black Friday for $10 thinking it would be alright for a cousin of mine that no longer had her speaker but boy was I wrong. Sound quality from it seriously sounds like it was running on Bluetooth 2.0 using the lowest possible streaming setting. Imagine listening to dollar store headphones but louder. I'm amazed I spent $10 on it let alone the normal $39. There are plenty of better speakers available for the money.

Was a good price, but the sound is low for its size. I learned spend a little for a better speaker.

Great price, but the speaker makes a weird noise when turned up over like half way like it rattles the speakers or something.

These speakers sound great, but you can't pair them to each other (either via an aux cord or wirelessly).

Got this for $10 on sale. The trend of bluetooth speakers is why this was created but not very good sound quality. If you care about sound go for the jbl flip or wonderboom or the wonderboom knockoff from Monoprice for 1/3 the price. Jbl flip is the best one in my opinion. This Insigina speaker would be a present for the little kids or the grandma who can't hear very good.

I found it at very cheap price in bestbuy so bought it. I am not using it very frequently.

For the price they have they're ok, as gifts for kids.

This is a good speaker for a person who has never purchased a bluetooth speaker before and for the price you cant beat it. But for those of you who like quality and crisp clear sound with bass this speaker is not for you. Looks like an amazon tap but lower quality. Theres better speakers out there for a few dollars more

I bought this Insignia Bluetooth speaker about a month at Brandon Best Buy. While it works with the blue tooth device which I bought at the same time, the sound quality is very poor, especially given that it cost almost $40. If I had the time to return it, I would.
