I returned this item.

It made to not slide around so far does not but only a couple of weeks used. The connection between my garmin and the base is where i question the quality does not seem to be made to last but so far okay.

Insignia weighted dashboard mount

It did not fit very well and was hard to use. We took it back. If we purchase a different one, it will be made for a Garmin and not "could be used by a Garmin". We still use the old one we had that was purchased for a previous Garmin. AT this time it will suffice.
