I was hoping I could get tis to be an alternative to smart light. I want them but do not want to pay the price. So I bought this and tried for 3 days to set it up and it did not work. I decided to return it and I'll be going for the TP Link instead

App crashes constantly. Best Buy clearly cut corners in creating this device. I was really optimistic when I bought this, but I will not buy another Insignia device for another few years - perhaps by then they'll actually build a working and reliable product.

Only used a few times and the APP was scrapped. I thought I was going to get a gift card, but never heard anything back.

The plug may work but will never know because the only way to load it is an app that doesn't work with any of my devices. No laptop option available either. Will have to return. Haven't had this issue with other smart plug brands.

I bought this because it states that it works with Google Assistant. However, I've spent all night trying to link my Insignia Connect account. Other users have reported similar issues on the Google forums. Returning it tonight...

I really was hoping this would work bc to purchase top shelf electronics can be pricey especially when you're beginning to gather components to build a smart home. In the end, this item just didn't work. Well at least, for me it didn't.

Worked well for a week. Stopped working when I updated my iPhone connect app. Now I can not connect the plug to my WiFi. Tried factory reset, uninstalling and reinstalling, router reset over and over. What a disappointment!

I bought two of these and neither of them worked at all. Support was of no help. Especially since both of these did not work at all I am returning them and getting a different brand and never buying Best Buys brand again.

I bought this along with several other Alexis compatible devices. Everything works seamlessly except for the Insignia plug. I got it to work once but couldn’t get it to work again. I plan to return it.

Product would not properly enter setup mode to allow for connection to Alexa or any install task sequence. It was pretty cool while my room lights were strobing though.

I have Wemo, Logitech, Logitech alert, Ecco, Wion, Belkin, GOGOGate Insteon, Momentum. D Link, yes I have a few. This will not connect to local wifi. Pure trash.

The application is no longer available . I can’t use it anymore

Every app update breaks something. Now the app doesn't even open after March 2018 update. Wish I paid more for a reputable smart company than this garbage.

I bought 2 of these, downloaded the app and have tried several times to go through the steps on both devices. It just won’t work - I will be returning these.

Plug fails to connect to WiFi network. I have 3 three google homes and they work fine, but this just keeps failing to connect on the insignia app

I bought two of these things. It was totally a waste of time and money. The control app that's use to control these devises is just useless.

Disappointed that the app is discontinued and I have no way to use this product any longer.

I tried several times but I could not get this item to work. I eventually lost interest and then forgot to return it to the store.

Wicked easy to set up! works as advertised - have not done groups yet because I only purchased one plug. I just ordered 3 more plugs so I will let you all know. Like the option to turn off the indicator light. Looks Like I can plug two into one outlet. Highly recommend!!
