Works great with Alexa and Google. Very easy setup procedure. I merely say Turn on the Plug and it turns on, same with off.

A little tough to link up with the router and stay hooked up. I have 4 units and all 4 took more time to link then I think it should have, but once they synced all has been great.

seems to work as described. It was a low cost wifi enabled switch. I didnt have any problems setting it up (except having to have the newer version of IOS on Iphone) so far - works.

It was a simple setup right out of the box. I've had it 2 weeks and it linked right to my google home. Planning on purchasing more.

This thing is okay. It does the job it's designed to do once it's set up, but getting there was frustrating. The Insignia app is very basic and certain instructions are missing. For instance, if you have a dual-band router and your phone happens to be connected to the 5GHz band when you try to set up the plug, your setup will fail. I figured out through trial and error that you need to be connected to the 2.4GHz network before you being the setup in order for it to work. Once the plug is set up, the app's features are pretty basic - on/off and schedule. That's fine, no problem there. Could have been a bit more polished, a bit prettier, but whatever. I did connect the plug to my Amazon Echo and it works, but it's sooooo slow to execute the "on" command. Strangely, the "off" command works very quickly. Here's my recommendation - skip this and go with TP-Link. I have 2 of those plugs and both were a breeze to set up and voice commands through the Echo are pretty instantaneous.

This Smart plug is easy to use. I can set a timer for any time or day that I want. I can turn it on and off with an app on my phone.

As much as I would love for it to be able to be connected to IFTTT. I am still thrilled and have about 7 of them in my house. I use them to schedule manage lava lamps that are in my window sill. I have my living room fan to turn off every night. I have an auora lamp my mom gave me on a schedule. Not to mention a small lamp in my bedroom that is on when I am in my pre-sleep mode. And a couple others that can be turned on my the app. I want more. But add IFTTT and I will be ecstatic.

The first one that I picked up , when I finally got it to work , was super sweet! Initially my IPhone 6S-plus would not send a working password to get this device linked up. We then switched , after numerous attempts, to an Android and everything worked fine. Then we had a power outage and I could not get it linked up again. Not to be deterred I took the "thought to be defective one" back and exchanged it for a new one and bought one more ,thinking I would be able to turn my house into an automated wonder! I have not been able to get either of these to work and have shelved the project for a while. I am certain that there is something I am not doing correctly , but I have yet to figure out what it is! Customer service was very nice and very patient with me so I give them a 100% and the device had worked for several weeks so I know they will work , I just have to work out my bug! So I will recommend this device only if you are good at solving connection issues .

Purchased several of these outlets to integrate with my Google Home purchase. Set up of the plug was a little tedious and took several attempts to get it configured correctly. Can sometimes be finicky about connecting to network, but overall, I am satisfied with this product.

It works, but changing primary room setting can be done on only ios. that was first trouble I had, and setting up with iphone wasn't easy, and failed several times. In the end I had to use android to set it. Like I said, it works with good price, but setting isn't easy.

I have owned this for a little while now, got it on one of those deals when you bought a Google Home Mini on Black Friday. Overall I have been very happy with it, but there is one issue though. Every once in awhile it will turn what it is plugged into back on after it is shutoff, but then it will shut if off again after a minute or so and then it is done. It happens rarely but it is something to think about. I have a TP Link plug also and that never does that. Both this and the TP link will occasionally get disconnected from the wifi and have to be unplugged and plugged back in to get them working again.

I purchased this product because I'm not ready to commit to any of the other lighting solutions out there now (although Hue is pretty close to wining.) This plug helps with a lamp we have in a hard to reach corner of our living room. No more having to climb over the couch or use my child as a personal lamp servant. Just open the app and click or have Google Assistant do it! Easy set-up, clean app, even has a auto on/off schedule. Doesn't get the 5th star because it is kind of big compared to other, slightly more expensive products. It only takes up the one outlet it needs, but it is bulky in comparison.

We bought the smart plug to go along with the Echo Plus. The Christmas Tree is plugged into it at the moment. I enjoy being able to control the lights from the Echo

I was purchasing a Google Home unit, and the store rep mentioned how cool this WIFI controlled plug in is. On a whim, I bought this unit. I plugged it in the wall, plugged my lamp into it, and set the control app up in my iPhone. I played with it turning the light on and off from all over the house. It works flawlessly. It's a big help, because I often forget to turn the light off downstairs when I go up to bed. This solves that problem without having to run back downstairs. I recommend this product.
