Easy to setup and works well with Google home mini . I will probably buy another one or two for my smart home.

I wanted something that I could use while I was away from home, to turn lights on, and off. Very nice if away on vacation.

I was scared to purchase this as the reviews were so low, but I took a chance and I absolutely love it. I never have problems with the app, its so easy and convenient to use. I feel that the reviews on here are unfair due to the amount of people complaining about compatibility with alexa and google home, even though it isn't stated anywhere on the product that it would have been compatible. No connection problems like other people. I can turn whatever plug into it from anywhere with my phone or Google home.

So easy to have my alexa turn on my lights and put on a timer. Will be buying more.

Got this for my Christmas Tree and it worked great at first. Eventually it would not longer respond with Google Voice and had to re-set it up multiple times to get it to work again for a short period of time.

Easy to setup. Works well with google home. I connected this to my bedroom lamp.

This smart plug is wonderful when it works, however I had the hardest time trying to get it to connect to the wifi and the app, and once I did it kept disconnecting and I had to start all over again!

I found this in the home automation section in Best Buy. It's great having a plug you and turn on and off with your phone!

Software isnt great as it is slightly difficult to navigate through, otherwise is a good cheap option for a "smart" plug

I bought three of them and I love them. I use them specifically for lights on and off in my house. People have complained on here about the app having a hard time keeping up if you're flipping the switch on and off a million times. My best suggestion is, DON'T FLIP THE SWITCH OVER AND OVER. When my Wi-Fi goes out I have to reset them every once in a while but other than that I have had zero problems. I would suggest them for anybody even my tech crazy brother.

Like the title says. Installation was a breeze since it was just a plug in. The application to use was a giant pain to link. It took me multiple times and multiple devices to get it to sync properly. I tried my Pixel, Note 8, Iphone 6 and finally was must successful on my old phone of a Note 4. Once it was finally linked, the product works great. I have yet to test with Google Home, but through the Insignia Connect app, the lights turns on and off with ease.

Hi, I bought this with not much expectation as its my first smart plug. It supersedes my expectation. Its easy to use and setup. I have been using for sometime. I also have a "branded" one as I got a deal - but both are doing excellent work so why pay more. Have smart plug with smart decision - make brand and money is secondary make choice for effectiveness.

This wifi plug is half the costly of others we searched for. Very easy to setup

Currently using to control holiday lighting - being able to use the Insignia app with scheduling works great.
