This is a great way to set a timer and voice control

Works great with my Google Home. Very easy to set up.

It's a great little starter plug easy to use and easy app

Easy setup and use of the app. You can set multiple schedules for whatever you plug in. I use it mostly for lamps, and will use it for holiday lights, too. Replaces my old pug in timers that were hard to set, especially to make any changes to. Super easy and cheap!

After researching smart plugs and looking at pricing, I wanted to pick something that wasn't going to cost too much. This little smart plug was a great choice for the money. Was a little tricky to setup but once I got it going, its worked great ever since.

I just bought an Insignia smart 4k tv. I plugged this in. It turns my tv off but will not turn it on. Returned to store.

I bought 2 of these. They work with Google or Alexa. I get notified through the app on my cell phone if they disconnect from the internet which is nice. Has timers if that's something you need.

Purchased these as they were half of what competitors were charging. Still havnt been able to figure out what wemo does that this can't. Only thing I don't like is it has you log into a Best Buy page to set up. Makes me wonder what info bby is receiving fr it!

Purchased two of these when on sale. Both had issues connecting to Home WiFi. One finally did after 15-20 tries to connect and works as advertised. The second one refused to connect. I exchanged for a new one thinking it could be faulty and same issue. Refuses to connect to wife. I disconnected Phones and computers and resigned into WiFi which tells me these devices are just not made well.

I had no problem just plugging in and connecting to the smart plug. I use it to turn lights on and off so it appears someone is home. You can set up a schedule or have it be random. I plan on using this for my Christmas tree light, etc. during the holidays.

Have two installed and it is great to have the lights on and off when you need them without trying to find them in the dark. They are a bit difficult to set up but work great when they are activated. Nice to be able to turn lights on as you approach the house.

Synced up fast with phone and wifi. App works good. When it first came out it might have been problematic but currently now it works great. Using it for my outdoor Xmas lights so I can set a schedule to turn off and on by itself. No problems so far.

Purchased this to allow me to turn off my pinball machine (which is downstairs) when I was upstairs and too lazy to go downstairs. Set up was simple, works flawlessly and best of all was the price! Went back and bought a 2nd before they sold out!

Worked exactly like I expected. Set up was fairly simple but requires extra step. Kind of annoying that you have to download the Insignia Connect app before syncing it with the Amazon Echo. Other than that it works exactly like you would it too.

Works well most of the time. Sometime starts blinking trying to connect to wifi I think. However overall I am satisfied.

Yeap that is the only drawback with this smart plug. It has no IFTTT functionality. I did return this item for that reason, but do not let that turn you away from your purchase. If you want a simple smart plug to tell "Alexa" or "Google Assistant" to turn on and turn off it's perfect and no hub required.

I got a couple of these on sale, but they are worth the price even when not discounted. Super easy to set up and now I have the piece of mind not entering a dark house, and controlling various electrical devices from anywhere through my Iphone.

At first they worked great, then after a week they stopped working, I emailed insignia and they said there was a system error and they were working to fix it. Over a WEEK later their product was working again. May seem silly but as a business I would want my products to work. Not, hey buy our products and it will work 50% of the time. Great price but you get what you pay for

This item is easy to set up and the wemo app works great. I found the wemo widget works even better. It's like having a light switch button directly on my phone without having to open the wemo app every time. Wemo can also be synced to work with Echo.
