This would have received 5 stars if it would have been easier to connect. Another issue is that if you put in a schedule and then delete the schedule later, the plugs still remain on the schedule. The schedule will be blank but the plugs still turn on and off based on the old schedule.

Works great to turn lamp on for pets when it starts to get dark outside if away. Tip: a lot of people have complained about connecting unit to wifi with IOS. Make sure you read the directions and follow directions to ensure proper connection.

Took a minute out of the box to figure out how to get the app on my phone to sync with the plug. Once that was done I added the plug to my Google Home and now it works like a charm! Can't beat it for the price point compared to the rest

Good camera; bad instructions. It took me awhile to find the online blurb about disabling cell data when setting up for wifi. It was nowhere in the printed instructions or the online video instructions. It was in a single entry under FAQ's. Once found and implemented, the camera worked great.

Nice addition to a digital home. Walking into a dark house is never nice. Being able to turn a light on from your phone before you arrive home is the perfect solution. Very easy to set up. Take five minutes or less. I would recommend this item.

I’m not going to rag on this too much. I wanted it to use with my google assistant but it’s not compatible.

I bought several of these plugs, and they are great. I am slowing converting to a smart home and these plugs are great quality and a lot less expensive than other brands. They are easy to set up and respond instantly to my Amazon Echo.

Initially purchased these plugs to put Christmas decorations on a timer. The setup and functionally left nothing wanting, I was actually surprised that the store brand at a low price would be so reliable. Would and did buy again.

This is my first Smart Plug and ABSOLUTELY love it!!! I finally dont have to get up to shut off my light - I can shut it off from my phone! Yes, I would definitely recommend it!!! I am about to buy a few more!!!

I bought several last year to use mainly at Christmas so I did not have to turn on and off my lights. I needed one more this year and got another one. Love that I can set the timer and the lights will come on and off on their own.

I really like the ability to turn on my lights when I am not as home. If I find myself running late and its getting dark, I can just use the app on my phone to turn the lights on. It works across the country too when I am on vacation.

I bought this device to control a lamp in my home and it works great. The app that controls the device is simple and very useful. You can set the device to function as a timer or operate it manually from your phone from anywhere.

Easy to install, easy to use. A big plus is the fact that no hub is necessary. Another plus is that it is Alexa compatible. I bought this plug as part of a bundle. The only negative would be if you paid full retail price for it.

Works great with Google home. Plugged my Christmas tree lights into the smart plug. Just say "Okay Google, turn on my living room plug" and it turns the lights on and off. Planning on using my 2nd one for under cabinet lighting.

The Insignia smart plug is working great though the initial setup was a bit difficult however, had I not read a few of the product reviews prior to the setup process it may have been much more difficult therefore, I would like to give a shout out to the people who post product reviews.

I don't write reviews on anything until I've had it for a few months. Now that I've had this product for a few months I can confidently say it works 100% of the time. For the price you simply cannot beat it. Great brand great value.

This can definitely be used to power some items but unlike others on the market this requires a full internet connection, not just a network connection. Thus meaning it cannot interact with Samsung smart things hub or a home assistant set up it any other internal Network only power outlet smart plug. This also means it's not good for a model power cycle plug. However it can be useful for things like holiday lights or lamp timers.

Everything works perfectly on this Smart Switch. The only thing that is missing is it does not have IFTTT integration so you can'treally set these kind of smart home settings and automations that other switches provide. That is the only thing missing to make this a 5-star product
