This was my first "smart home" purchase and I was instantly hooked. The Insignia Connect app is very easy to use and the scheduling feature did everything I wanted. I was able to turn the light off on the plug which others had said didn't work as well.

Great purchase for tech challenged

I was able to set up two of the four I purchased so far and they work perfectly. The set up was easy. Each took 5 minutes to have up and running. I had already downloaded the app so I was ready to go. Read the very clear directions; which I don't think are more than 4 lines then your phone and app take over. I highly recommend this product even if you are technically challenged. I still can't believe I was able to install and have them up and running in minutes. Outstanding!

Not a fan of this product

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never could get it to work right, exchanged for another and could not get it to work. Then it was too long for Best Buy to take it back. Sitting in a box in a drawer. Support was of little help. finally gave up. They felt I did not have the correct band width of something. I have ATT internet. Not sure what else I could haver done. Wanted it for a second home where I could turn the lights on and off so the house did not look deserted.
