This is a great solid insignia product. I love it. The only issue I have is with the scheduling piece. I make sure that the schedule is right and the time is as well it works for a day or two and then starts turning on and off at random times throughout the day.

Works good for controlling a light, but sometimes won't connect and has turned the light on randomly on its own.

I never had chance to install software for this item, because it was not compatible with the level of Android software installed, and up to date, on the Samsung tablet I own. Had to return for WEMO unit which is compatible. If you purchase, make sure it is compatible with the device you intend to install the software on.

I still have yet to be able to connect the WiFi to this plug to get it to work.

The plugs twice needed to be reconnected to the network. And then when it does, I had to reconfigure each of my devices to interact with them. I initially bought four and they worked great for a week. When I called customer service and told them my issue, the rep simply said to just return them to the store.

I can only review this product because I have nothing to compare to it, but this unit was purchased for my Christmas tree to be able to shut it off or turn on the lights without bending down behind the tree. For no reason at all the unit started to malfunction not only that it makes a click loudly when you turn on and off. I ended up eating the price of the unit because of it.

Have some problems trying to get this to link up with a phone. You have to download an app and work through it.

Plug the device into the product and download the app. Set up the device with the app and you're done. Very simple set up and the device works great. If you are expecting more, you can try the more higher end products but this is good for just basic use.

Good with your smart device however at times I have to rest it since it has lost connection at times

Purchased for Christmas season to control exterior lights and it was worth every penny. Linking (2 plugs purchased) plugs was fast and easy. Only complaint was occasional glitches with mobile app not always recognizing registered plugs.

The insignia WiFi plug works as needed, I use it for a timed schedule for my tortoise enclosure. The app can be a little confusing if you're trying to get the plug reconnected after a network outrage, but other than that I'm happy with it.

This is the best plug i have in my house. Only minutes to install. Download the app and control ir from your phone. If you have alexa even better just name it and ensble the skill. Then ask alexa tu turn on or off the light from your couch.

I purchased this to control a lamp with my amazon echo dot. I worked good but was a real pain to setup.

I’m hoping they can improve the phone app for this product and make it simple to get everything working.

Works great for a wiFi switch but doesn't work with Alexa.The price was cheap and not worth returning.

I discovered the wireless plug while shopping for a wireless wall switch. It had a reasonable price and I had a need, so I purchased it. It was easy to set up and works well. The reason I rated it only 3 stars is that it lacks Apple Home Kit compatibility. Home Kit makes it even more simple and efficient.

I love my plug the salesman just wasn’t so nice. He didn’t even really wanna talk to me at all.
