if the item connected isnt used for a day. item loses connection to wifi

My mother is a Sundowner so I purchased these in order to program the lights to turn on before it starts to get dark and it has helped tremendously with her agitation. Would recommend this to everyone who has a parent with dementia.

Got this to turn lights on at random when we travel vs a timer that comes on at the same time every day! I have 3 now, all different rooms. So easy to set up even I could do it! Just use my phone and turn on or off when I want!

Have a device that you want to control through WiFi? Use this plug and you can now control through your app. Never wonder if you left the coffee pot on. If it is plugged into this, just open your app and check, and turn it off.

Not super happy but it works. It's a bit slow but it was easy to set up and cheaply than the others.

Problems with app always going offline. Does not work every time through voice commands.

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to iHome but it was a mistake. If you set schedules it never turns on or off even is supposed to, it takes forever to connect to alexa and even then there's a 10 to 15 second delay when you ask alexa to turn it in or off. Not satisfied with this purchase and will continue sticking to iHome products.

I love the idea of having a smart home. I have a nest thermostat, Nest outdoor cam, Amazon Elena and I REALLY want some LIFX bulbs. If since they aren’t cheap I thought I could create lamp and timing schedules on a budget. The setup was difficult after plugging in the wi-fi smart plug. So difficult that I gave up and let it sit on my table for two weeks to finally try again. (Note* I’m pretty good at figuring out electronics, my job depends on me figuring out and setting up all sorts of different tech from cameras, lighting, computers etc.) finally after another few days of trying to connect with WiFi it finally worked.... for about three days, timers and all, and then for some reason stopped working? I couldn’t connect again for some reason even after a hard reset. I gave up again. Not worth the frustration. Just get a lifx bulb that works. I got my parents a lifx bulb and they love it. No hubs required so it’s cheaper than philips hue in the long run.

Not too bad, but would go with another brand that offers more products, since it requires an app.

Sometimes there is a delay with the Amazon Echo. A bit difficult to pair with the exho also.

Sometimes it is loosing the connection. I used it to turn on and off the tree lights. 9 out of the 10 times worked. To reconnect i just pulled it out and plugged it again. It works with Google home. I am buying more.

It's a ok product, it does work but I still find myself getting up to plug different stuff in.

Overall great WIFI outlet. Easy to use and connect. Took a couple of times to connect, but haven't had any issues since. App is fairly easy to use and seams to work well with the outlets. For the price, I think it's a good buy.

Using to control a lamp in another room. It works well though was slightly difficult to setup.

We recently bought this to use instead of an old school timer for the Christmas Tree. Not only can we set a timer using our smart phone, but we can literally just tell the Google Assistant to turn the tree on or off.

I am not sure how to connect it to my phone so that I can turn it on remotely.

I like it. Got it on sale and it works... installation had a few fails, but try and try again, it finally worked... stays on schedule and iPhone app is ok. Has a little bit of a lag, but nonetheless, it works!

This product was hard to set up and would not sync with the new iPhone iOS update.

Perfect for remote management of lights or appliances. Simply connect to your local wifi using your smart phone and the insignia app. Works great. The switches also seem to stay connected to my wifi over several week so far.

So far so good works well WiFi goes thru not as good as the google one but worth the money
