This digital timer was easy to install and program. It's also connected to our home's wifi so it can be controlled remotely using the Insignia app on my smartphone.

Bought this to plug in string lights on my patio. The plug is high on the wall and out of reach so I figured this plug was a good idea. It was a great idea! Works flawlessly from the mobile app and Alexa!

Its a great started plug but i wish that the wigdet worked when I put it on my phone

Hard to rename these devices between the app and google home. Intermittent delay when asking google to turn the light off using this outlet. Not sure which device is causing that.

This little plug was perfect when I left for vacation. It turned on my lamps at a certain hour and turned them off as well. Programming was pretty simple. You must create or have a bestbuy account to set up.

Such a pleasure to be able to turn lights off and on never having to get out of bed. I have had great luck with it and I would surely buy it again

The plug seems well built. However, you cannot log into the app and sync it, so this functions as nothing but an outlet over your outlet. I am sure after they fix the app bug, it is a good product, but until then, i would not recommend buying this product.

Once you set up your schedule you can't go back and see what times you have set up.

Purchased this due to price. Had I read the reviews first I would have never bought it. Plug might be ok if the app worked. Every time I’d try to connect I would get an error. I tried on numerous devices and error each time. Returned it for TP-LINK

Ok, my first attempt was not good, so I decided to give it another try and it's works GREAT! Glad I did. Getting set to get a second, maybe third too. Pretty decent price point compared to the named brands.

This is just what I was looking for to control our Christmas tree. Works seamlessly without a hitch. App works great and Alexa controls so my 4 year old daughter loves turning on and off the tree.

Easy to set up. Have to sign-in to Best Buy account, but that's not very different from most smart devices you want to use with Echo. The option to turn off the LED is nice as it is quite bright.

I use this to turn my coffee pot on while still in bed. I love that you can use Echos as well. It sometimes doesn't turn on depending on the app but I might have to tweak it but I'm not worried.

I use this for my river house to control the swamp cooler. I turn it on and it cools the house down much cheaper than the ac. I also use one to turn on lights for security on a timer with the app.

Instructions were not great and there is only one time that you can program

did not recognize on first attempt to set up. I will set up at a later date.

i use it to replace my manual timers. connected it to my aquarium accessories such as lights, heater, blower. also for Xmas tree lights. replaced all those hard to program digital plug timers.

Two of the three smart plugs by Insignia are not able to stay online. I had the same problem with Home smart plugs. I guess I need to bring them all back to the store. I have spent hours trying to get them to work correctly. Only one still does.

This device works as intended, but with a delay of sometimes up to 30 seconds.
