I love this outlet but the only issue I have is the schedules do not work right. The outlet does not turn on as scheduled so I have to manually turn it on.

This product worked great for me while it was supported. I liked them so much that I bought 5 of them. The app was very easy to use and they worked great with Alexa. Unfortunately, I just found out that this product's support and app has now been discontinued so all the smart features are now disabled. All my plug's LEDs are just blinking now. You can still turn them on/off manually. They are basically useless now. I wish there was some way for Best Buy/Insignia to open source the firmware and publish an SDK to allow developers to modify it so it can be useful again. If they were still supported, I would give it 4 or 5 stars.

I'm be honest these are really pretty simple. I have purchased five of these so far and they work great no issues! One thing I love the most no Hub needed

This wi-fi smart plug is so easy to set up and use that even the most technology challenged person can use it. (I should know!) I plan on buying more.

First off, the setup is horrible. Why does it need to be so complexed? You have to log into its wifi, then provide password to your WiFi, then log back into your WiFi only to find that it hasn’t connected. Oh.. did I mention it requires you to register with Best Buy. I am registered, but that shouldn’t be a requirement to use a product. So never got the product to work so I spent an hour with customer service only to tell me that they were having problems with iOS 11 and not to return it, just “be patient” and problem should be solved. Well.. several months later I’m heading to return this thing. I got a Samsung smart things plug that took less than 5 min to setup so have no use for this now.

I bought 2 of these smart plugs & it's a real gamble if it's gonna work today or not. Have a lot of problems with these I guess I should have paid more for the wemo switches because the two of them I Have seem to work much better.

Easy to set up and configure. Works well with Alexia. Great deal for the price.

Got it for my mom, she loves the thought of being able to control lights/cooking food with the touch of a button on her phone and not even being near it

Great product but wish I had purchased more than just two when they were on sale. Regular price is a bit high in my opinion but still really enjoy the product

Have used these plugs for quite a while now and they perform wonderfully every time. Have programmed for on/off and they are great.

This is such a great gift, we have the original google home and we bought this one for a friend and it wasn't to expensive and does everything the same.

This was a great item that saved me many return trips home to turn off xxxx. Having the ability to remotely power off anything I was afraid of leaving on was fabulous.

This was a great product but needs to work on the app

This was my entry into WiFi home automation. Easy setup with the instructions and it works great. Able to turn timer on and off while away from home.

I'm sure this product itself works just fine, but the required app is total garbage. Every time I open it to turn on my light it says "no devices found," and if I refresh it, it may or may not work after a minute or so. Meanwhile it would be faster to physically walk to the light and turn it on, defeating the purpose of this entirely. It also only works with Google home some of the time. I have a similar product by another company and it works instantly, seamlessly, every time, and never has issues getting Google home to recognise it. I wish I could say this is a good cheap alternative to pricier similar products, but you really get what you pay for with these.

Turns thing on and off....life changing...for sure

I connected mine with my echo and it works exactly like it is suppose to. I will say that the app is pretty much garbage but this one works great.

Needed something to control a device with a non-standard bulb base and multiple lights. This provided the option to add a 'smart outlet to my home.

I bought 2 of these smart plugs and they work good, I have 2 Christmas trees hooked up and will be using them for the lamps once Christmas is over.

I bought this hoping to hook my Christmas tree to it. I called customer service because my phone wouldn't ever connect. They told me to take it back. Same thing happened with the next one. Very frustrating!
