This really assists me when it’s dark & I have to go across the room to find it! I use it wirh my google & works out perfectly

I wanted something to control my Christmas tree lights while integrating with all my smart home stuff and this was the perfect product!

Worked great but unfortunately best buy shut the app down and so they no longer work via wifi only manually.

Have this connected to Alexa, and Google home it works well. Setup took a few tries. The light is a bit bright when it is on.

This was pretty simple to activate with my new Google Mini to verbally turn on and off a floor lamp. Good price and reliable, I like.

Love this, i have my light programmed so it turns on and shuts off at same time every day, never have to walk into a dark home again.

This is an awesome wireless plugs, and was very easy to install. Just keep in mind that this model doesn't support HomeKit.

Setup is not intuitive. You need to follow the directions exactly. ;-) Does work as advertised with the Insignia app and Alexa/Echo.

It works great with my google home mini. I love it and my kids love it for turning on hard to reach stuff like the christmas tree.

At first I wasn't sure if this was worth the purchase. I've been using it for 3 weeks and I've had no issues with it. Works great

No matter what the description says about "voice compatible", "smart device", etc., it's wrong. This thing is dumb as a mud-fence. With the Insignia Connect app, you can turn this switch on and off and you can set it to come on automatically at certain days/times. But if you're thinking about using this with a Google Home Assistant, Samsung Smartthings Hub or Alexa, don't waste your time. It cannot be done. Oh yes, I know there are all kinds of apps, logins, connections, etc., that include links to Insignia Connect. But no. just no. That's the word from someone who tried for a week and in consult with Samsung and Google experts.

the only thing i don't like is the power button is on the right side and protrudes out which limits some areas you can plug it in

This is a great way of adding more appliances to the smart home experience without having to purchase extra lighting at that time

Trouble trying to setup with wi-fi and getting to work. Finally got it working, but would not work every time for what was plugged in, nor could I get it connected to google assistant like the specifications said would work.

This unit does not connect to your WiFi, not it will work with the Wink system as advertised. It won't even connect to it's own app via 2.4 not 5.0 Ghz. Basically a waste of time.

My wife decided to add these controls to a select group of lights in the house, and this was the best idea she’s had all year.

This is a great product to make your home safe just in case you leave you can always make sure your appliances are off.

Bought this item not too long ago, and I'm really enjoying it. The only downside would be that the app doesn't always work right away. It sometimes takes up to 10 seconds before there's any response from the switch at all. It also makes a bit of a tick noise when it first comes on. Other than that, it's a great product and definitely helps out if you're away for vacation and want a light on, and the scheduling feature is amazing!

I use other brand wi-fi switches and thought I'd try the new Insignia brand entry in market. It seems to be as good as others that may cost more. For these switches, the app is as important as the hardware and the Insignia app seems to be well written and works well. Some such apps are terrible. It's good that best Buy had a really good app developed.

We bought this because we wanted something to help us to remember to turn off the Christmas Tree. Worked great!
