Bought the first one works great..went back for a second one both working as stated also great value

This is better than having light bulbs !!! I HAVE the ability to control my lights while away from home !!!

While this plug worked fine for two weeks, it suddenly stopped working. No amount of resetting helped. Not sure if I got a defective one or not. Best Buy was helpful in returning the item.

First, the app crashed so often I needed a helmet! Even when the app was working, the smart plug wasnt so smart. After 5 minutes of trying to connect, it wouldnt connect to my router due to an "invalid password". I put in a wrong password on purpose and it said "invalid password" in just a few seconds so I knew when I put in the right password and it was taking 5 minutes, I knew it was another issue. Where it says "yes" and "no" for a recommendation of this product, they forgot to add a "no way, Jesse Day" button. Also a "-5" star rating would be appropriate.

It’s great we use it every day with Alexa. It takes a little bit of time to set up but works great.

Plug works perfectly! Set up was a bit confusing initially, but overall it came together smoothly.

I can't say any good or bad about this because it is for a Christmas gift and has not been used yet.

i have purchased 4 of them .and its making me lazy dont have to switch on/off power just using the app.

Works well sometimes it won’t work with Echo although have not had a problem using through the app

works exactly as it states, when i turn it off/on it does a click noise notifying you its working.

seems to work great, makes a loud click when turning on and off. Pretty bulky compared to others.

Purchased to control lamp. Simple to configure but after using it the device became non-responsive and communication was lost. Device software is a little buggy for beginners to use.

Unfortunately, nothing about this product worked for me. The software continuously crashed on my phone, even after a reinstall (android OS on an S7). The unit itself never connected to my wifi, in my house. To be honest, I would normally take it back and try another unit, but my frustration with the software kept me from trying again and I brought it back for a refund. Insignia (being Best Buy's brand) needs to work on their product quality.

This device is great if you have kids who regularly fall asleep with the lights on in their room

This will allow you to control any appliance/device plugged into it via your smart phone/tablet.

These are great for any appliance! Especially if your wife forgets to turn off her straightener!
