Broken out of the gate

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried this smart plug a while back and needless to say I was not impressed. It never was able to talk to the Insignia app even after unplugging and replying it in and also after a factory reset as well. Not sure if that is common but mine was a dud for sure. Returned to the store and purchased the TP Link smart plug and have never had an issue since.

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This functioned well until Best Buy decided not to support the app anymore. I had a few of these as well as an in-wall switch that all needed to be replaced. Luckily Best Buy was willing to give a store credit to offset my lost money, but it was still annoying to have to have a new switch installed.
