I couldn’t get it to hook up with Amazon Alexa so I returned it.

Our first unit is great but the app doesn't appear to support two units.

I previously purchased two of these switches and both worked fine. Bought two more and neither one would connect to wifi. Both boxes looked like they had been opened. Store may have placed bad devices back on shelf. After reading reviews on this product I am changing to a different brand

Takes awhile to pair with home wifi, n sometimes don’t respond with app

Spent two hours trying to set up one of the two I bought, and it never would work even after three factory resets. The second one I bought had the exact same issue. Will be returning in exchange for a different brand. Unsure if the problem is the insignia connect app or the actual hardware.

This was returned to the store as it was not compatible with my Wemo.

Setup was a pain, it works about 75% of the time it was cheap though

I was notified on 9/1/2019 that the Insignia Connect App, that is essential to the function of this product, is being discontinued November 6, 2019. I will not be purchasing any more Insignia products.

Bought these late 2017. First couple more than worked well with Google home. After that, plug works with app but never with Google home. If you research online, you will find many with the same experience. Purchase a other brand if you are looking for a smart plug.

I bought two of these thinking they were the inexpensive way to go..you get what you pay for. They started having problems two weeks after I bought them. The idea is great, but they need to be re-engineered. I had to reprogram them twice, and that was when I decided to bring them back for a refund.

I am always resetting it. Not what I had hoped it would be.

This wa some of the worst purchases that I have made. I spent months trying to get them to work. Online help and costumer service are a joke. Best Buy was awesome and allowed me to return the two that I had purchased so I could buy another brand that worked.

Works ok with Google Assistant until it disconnects from Wi-Fi.

It really should be a surge power strip. Blocks second outlet.

too big in size. Price okay. but the size is just too big.

Not only is this a horrible product that dosen't work, BUT INSIGNIA customer service is beyond useless. They are not empowered to answer questions. They know nothing. I will never NEVER buy an insignia product again. IT is cheap for a reason!!! STAY AWAY

these do not work right. I have to manually home to switch several tunes a day to turn on and off. voice command for google or alexa does same thing. it says it turned out on or of but never does. worthless. I might be returning these android stocking with wemo
