Customers are saying

Customers highly value the wireless functionality and extended range of this SNES/NES Classic controller, frequently praising its ease of use and compatibility with both systems. While some users noted occasional connection or responsiveness issues, many found the battery life to be satisfactory and the price reasonable. The bulkier size compared to the original controllers was also a point of discussion among some users.

I like this controller because it goes with both the NES and SNES classic consoles. The wireless function is great but you do have to replace the batteries (I just take them out after I finish playing). If you have both classic consoles you can save a little money on the second controller for the NES! Great buy!

It get's the job done, however it doesn't allow you to 'reset' remotely from the unit. other wireless devices do allow you to do the reset so you don't have to go to the console.

No more sitting in the floor

As much as I enjoyed the nostalgia of sitting on the floor playing the SNES classic like I did as a kid, I can kick back on the couch and play like modem systems. Setup is easy. My only gripe, as minor as it is, I wish the controllers had an auto on and off function instead of the physical switch.

Did not like the fact that I had to purchase another controller for the game system because the controller that came with it does not reach far enough

this is a great second controller and is compatible with the NES Classic, even though it looks like the SNES controller. Comfortable curves and sturdy design for a third-party product.

    Wireless controller for SNES classic

I was lucky enough to buy a SNES classic when they came out. My girlfriend and I want to play it more while laying down and relaxing. Wireless controllers seemed to be the best bet, but these ones are AAA Battery powered. I've seen plenty of others on the market that were a rechargable micro USB. The convenience of being able to just plug in a controller that's battery has died. With the same cord that I charge my phone with and not have to worry about having a spare set of AAA's around can't be understated.

I was very skeptical when I first bought this controller because I’ve read nothing but bad reviews. This controller has been fantastic!! Nothing better than being lazy, playing video games in bed, and reliving all of childhood favorites!!

Solid wireless option for SNES Classic. The D-pad is a bit loose, but the buttons respond well enough and there isn't too much button input lag.

A little lag in the responsiveness of these controllers but still fine to use and sit far enough away from the screen to not strain your eyes.

It's good to use when your couch is far from the tv, but sometimes the reaction speed is a tad slow which can be frustrating from time to time.

    Wrong for My System

My bad!!! I misunderstood the description, and could not use this controller, for my original SNES game system. I just returned it to the local Best Buy and received a credit, Easy Peasy!!! I can not tell you if it worked well with the new "classic" systems, but I thought having a wireless controller would certainly be a great improvement, rather than dealing with those short cords, on the original SNES.
