I bought these to tune out the noise of my mower and the noise from my kids while working from home, and they work great! I use them for meetings and music on my computer devices and my daughter listens to books on the kindle. They block out so much unwanted noise. The only difficulty I have with them are the side controls for volume and other functions. This feature doesn’t always work smoothly, but it could be because I’m still getting used to using them. Overall, I would definitely purchase this product again!

My room is right Next-day to the laundry room, when those machines run it’s hard to hear myself think. With these headphones on, I’m inclined to put in the next load of laundry, I can’t hear anything other than the video or song playing, these headphones are great, plus they’re comfortable. One thing I do find slightly annoying is the touch recognition feature, it pretty cool in concept - being able to pause/play or adjust the timeline of a video/song by tapping or sliding your finger on the right surface area of the headphone - I keep forgetting that it exists and when I’m lying on the couch with my head resting on my arm. Part of my arm comes in contact with the headphone and messes with whatever media I have playing. A minor inconvenience, but I won’t dock points for that. Battery life is great, haven’t had to charge them since date of purchase (5 days ago).

I was going to buy Dr. Dre, but was hesitant to spend the money, having heard that they were overrated and you were paying for the name. So i saw the Insignia Noise Cancelling Headphones on Best Buy Deal of the Day and i called and ordered them right away. I wear glasses and I was concerned that the bows would hurt my head after a while, but the padding is super soft and the headphones have incredible sound. Battery life is 20 hours with noise cancelling and FORTY hours with the noise cancelling turned off! Great product!!! I love my new purchase and the price was great!!!

These have been great all around headphones for working from home/distance learning. The active noise canceling works decently for WebEx meetings while there are other household noises going on. Very comfortable to wear for a few hours at a time. Good battery life. So happy with initial purchase, that my family agreed we could use a second pair. Both were purchased on a Best Buy Deal of the Day which \made them even better values.

I use headphones only for some simple listening and phone calls over the PC for work. Most cheaper sets will do OK but the plug always seems to break after view months so looked for another set. Found this inexpensive headphones which were recommended by the Best Buy staff, The fit nice & tight around the ear and actually cancel outside noise better then any other headphone previously used. They're light and after 5 mins or so you don't realize you are wearing them. Sound is loud and clear, not distorted. So far, I'm happy with this purchase.

I have a more expense set of noise canceling headphones by Sony and those are excellent for backseat car rides and plane travel. I was pleasantly surprised by these from Insignia. I purchased them not expecting a lot but got way more than I bargained for. Especially for a deal of the day. I use them for working out side and doing chores in the house. The sound is very good. The bass could be deeper but I’m not a big bass person anyway. I like to hear the highs and mid ranges too. These will do that. The ear cups are comfortable for my medium size head and ears. Good battery life and easy to connect to Bluetooth. I would recommend them.

You are not going to get a top notch sound system but what you do get is a good product for its price (I was lucky to get it on sale). I was very impressed on how comfortable they are as well. The noise cancelling is also a nice touch. I live in an area which has a lot of road construction going as of now and it really does help to cut out the background noise. The battery life is very good as well. So far I had no issues with the headphones and would recommend it to others. If you are tight on cash and want a good set of wireless headphones then you should be satisfied with the product.

I bought this when it was 55% off, which it seems to do frequently.
This is a comfortable headphone set. I use it paired with my cell phone for calls, as well as to my computer. I also use it to listen to TV via wired connection. The noise isolation is pretty good, and then the noise cancellation takes it to another level of quiet. I find it very helpful for the home office so I don't get disturbed by the air conditioner or other noises in the house. I do hear a little bit of electronic hiss with the ANC on, but it isn't very disturbing, certainly not compared to the other noises I would be hearing.
I find that I can wear then for hours comfortably, even while wearing glasses. My ears do get a little sweaty, but I don't get hot overall.
Construction seems reasonably solid. I am sure that they are breakable, but they don't seem overly flimsy.
The wired connection works even when they are powered off. I have noticed that the ANC will power off after several minutes if it is not paired with any device.
As for sound quality, I give them a meh. They're totally fine for listening to voice. When listening to music, I certainly don't go wow. Yes, they sound better than AirPod pros, but nothing compared to my Shure earphones as I remember them. Bass is okay, maybe a little soft and muddy. Mids and highs are also just okay, not necessarily very clear or clean. For the price I paid for them, however, they're great.
The controls are pretty convenient. They make me wish that there's volume control on my AirPods Pro.

I bought this on half off promotion and considering the actual price I paid for it, this is a crazy good deal. Its charge goes over a week, the noise cancellation works perfectly, and just like I wanted it has the least amount of branding comparing to its competitors on the market. It's very comfortable over ears and I could not ask for more. If you are working for a good wireless noise cancellation headphone and you don't wanna pay a ton, buy this. You won't regret it.

The fit is perfect. Lightweight and never hurts, even after binge-watching all weekend. Sound is fine. ANC works so well that I thought my air conditioner had instantly died the first time I turned them on. This is my first experience with active noise canceling that i could clearly tell that it was doing something high-tech when it is activated. Liked them so much, I wanted to order another pair, but they were out of stock when I came back. :-(

I am surprised at the quality of these. Very good battery life as well. Can use wired if battery has died as well. The noise cancelling works for repetitive background sounds and that can be toggled on and off. Comfortable as well. The Bluetooth can come times not connect / disconnects but I think that is the laptop and child that uses it more than the item itself. I have 2 sets and the other one/ child doesn’t have that issue!

I was looking for a noise cancellation headphone after my Sony wireless headphone was broken. It definitely has beaten my expectations. In fact, I find it better that Sony wireless noise cancelling headphone. It is more comfortable and also filters most of the noise which will distract you. However, you can always press the monitor mode if you want to listen to the ambient sound.
Overall, a cheaper and better noise cancellation headphone.

I wanted these headphones because of inconsiderate noisy neighbors who slam their door really loud. I decided to buy these bluetooth noise canceling headphones so I could study and watch television in peace. These headphones hooked up easily to all my devices and they are easy to use. They stay connected very well and drown out all the "surround sound" made by the neighbors and I only hear an occasional distant thud. The charge lasts a long time and they charge quick. When I listen to music the sound quality is outstanding. The only thing I took one star off for, and maybe it's my fault, is that I tried to connect them to my television and even with a bluetooth adapter that I just brought it wouldn't work. I believe these are the best noise canceling headphones at this price point and over all I am very pleased with them.

I have a pair of Bose wireless noise-canceling headphones and bought these because of the price. Although the Bose pair is about the best you can get, these are very good both comfort and sound-wise - at about 1/6 the price of the Bose pair. You really can't go wrong with these headphones!

Purchased these on sale at about 50% off, for that price they're a great deal. The sound quality can be a little bit muddy in the mid-range sometimes, but overall sound quality is good, I listen to jazz, rock, classical, and hard Rock mostly.
The noise cancellation works well, certainly not as good as a high-end Bose or Sony, and the sound quality certainly falls a little bit short of those brands as well.
But I use these when sitting in the stands for my kids sports events, with the noise cancellation activated, it drowns out most of the background crowd noise, and it's perfect for that. The touch controls, and button controls are all very responsive.
And for 40 or 50 bucks, if I did lose them or somebody took them, I wouldn't feel that put out.
So, for the average listener looking for noise canceling headphones, these are great!
If you are an audiophile, spend the 200 bucks to get a good pair of noise canceling headphones, these will not satisfy your requirements.

I got these to use with my Cannon G60 Camcorder with RODE PRO+ mike to monitor sound levels and quality. I needed a headphone that blocked out non recorded noise. They can be used wired also. Noise cancel for non recorded sound works well. They are light weight, comfortable and very adjustable The head phones fold-up to store well in camcorder bag.

These headphones turned out to be better than I was expected. The sound quality is very good. I'm especially happy with the bass. I've had these for about a year and so far so good. I guess I have medium sized ears and they fit fine.
I would definitely buy this again if something happens to my current pair.

DISCLAIMER: This is my first ever pair of over the ear (OTE) headphones.
When I first put these on, I was impressed with the sound isolation. That was before I even turned on the active noise cancelling (ANC). When turning the ANC on, these really shine. So much so that when you take them off, the world sounds a raucous place. 5gstars for sound isolation and noise cancelling!
Now for everything else.
The sound quality is middling. It sounds like the drivers are fighting against the sound isolation. Being that this was my first pair of OTE headphones, I can't say whether this is true for all OTE headphones. But these sounded like there was some thin media between you and the sound, muffling everything just a little bit. Don't get me wrong, with outside sounds blocked out, the sound is good. It's warm and enjoyable, but it lacks the crisp clarity of great headphones. I've got a pair of $10 wired Panasonic earbuds and $40 wireless Sony buds that sound much more crisp and clear, but lack the warm sound isolation these have. After wearing these for a couple hours, that muddy feeling becomes unnoticeable. It's only if you compare them to better sounding headphones that you notice. 3.5 or 4 stars for acceptable sound quality.
The mic on these is awful. I mean, it pics up your voice, so that's good, but it only pics up your voice because it pics up EVERYTHING. It almost amplifies all the background noise. On the other end of the line, your voice is definitely audible, and pretty clear, but so is the traffic, the neighbors dog barking, the baby crying three houses away... You get the idea. 2 stars for the mic.
They're acceptably comfortable. I wouldn't want to wear them for 8 hours a day yet. I feel like I'd have to train up to more than a few hours. 3.5 stars for comfort.
They did NOT work well as a computer work / conference call set of headphones. Setting the mic issues above aside, there are also some compatibility issues. When I tried to join a conference call, the headphones wouldn't accept the computer audio. I don't really understand why. They would accept the computer sounds and notifications. It worked fine playing music. Then I joined a conference call, and the headphones just stopped working. 2 stars for usability.
I bought these for computer work at home to block out noise from roommates clattering around. Being that I can't actually use them for work, they'll have to go back. Bummer.
