I was on vacation and didn't bring my remote camera shutter release, I went to the local Best Buy and purchased the Insignia remote control. It seems to work as well as the Nikon one. I tend to use it for night time astronomy pics. Especially star trails. I have no complaints

Very easy to use and works great with my Nikon D3300

Pulled it out of the package, tugged out that little piece of plastic keeping the battery from losing its charge, and it just started working. Had to make sure my camera was switched to the IR remote setting and it was off to the races.

OK - so this was a lifesaver item in Paris, France a few months ago. My wife went all over France and took pictures. Without this little guy, we wouldn't of had some amazing shots at the Eiffel Tower or Louve. This is a MUST item. Works at a good range too and use it with a 2 second timer delay. WINNING!

Super simple to figure out and great for the price!

I did a self portrait project before and using the remote shutter is so much better then trying to work with the self timer. You do have to have it in sight of the camera but the convenience over rides that.

Easy to pair with all my Nikon DSLRs. Only complaint was you had to press/hold the shutter button for 1-2sec for the camera to take a picture. Other than that it works great.

Just wish you didn't have to point it directly at camera. That may be a camera issue though.... it's hard to hide in photos when you have to point directly. But we got our family pic!

This wireless shutter button works pretty well. It’s not responsive 100% of the time but as long as the remote is pointed right at the camera I’ve had very few issues.

After the initial learning curve, it's fast and easy to use, makes using the camera for shots you don't want the camera to shake for fantastic.

This is the third remote I've purchased and the best by far, other remotes I've had experience with tended to have a lag or delay requiring button to be pressed multiple times or from specific angles. Very responsive, I've had no issues.

The remote was a little difficult to set up with the provided instructions but I was able to figure it out with an internet search. I am happy with this purchase.

Once I figured out how to connect this to my Nikon D3400 it worked fine. It does have a slowness to it though. May just not be super compatible with my camera?

Great product - works flawlessly with my D750. No cords to trip over & pull down the tripod.
